When ‘non-dogmatic’ information becomes FREE & TRANSPARENT it becomes a threat to those who attempt to control the narrative and/or the stable.
When you are awake, you stand on the outside of the stable (‘group-think’ collective), and have ‘free thought’.
"Free thought" is a philosophical viewpoint which holds that positions regarding truth should be formed on the basis of logic, reason, and empiricism, rather than authority, tradition, revelation, or dogma.
When you are awake, you are able to clearly see.
The choice is yours, and yours alone.
Trust and put faith in yourself.

If it gets dark on Standard Time in the 4 o’clock hour, on DST it gets dark in the 3 o’clock hour. The sunrise is 1 hour earlier in DST.

Changing the clock does not affect when the sun rises and sets at all. And what’s the big deal anyway? So it gets dark or light on some man made time schedule? It’s an hour. One hour. 60 minutes.
The only thing this change ever did for me was remove one hour, 60 minutes, of sleep every spring, just so it would get darker later for someone else?
I don’t care much since I’m now retired, but let’s be real. Put the time back to standard and live with whatever one hour brings.

Yeah I understand that. I’m a proponent of more daylight at the end of the day and to stop changing the damn clocks.
But, but, NO KINGS!!!
Well it affects driving conditions for most working people, and maybe gives them a little daylight to work with after they get home.
The old "but the school kids in the dark" argument doesn't hold water. Change the school hours for Wintertime.
When I had my 12 hour shifts, it would affect me certain times of the year - spring and fall during normal prevailing time. The evening drive to work for the night shift at 5 PM or so had a nasty habit of putting the sun right on the horizon in front of me. This would be most annoying in standard time, closer to the time change period. Daylight savings time helped that quite a bit.
Most other time frames were Ok, though like yourself, I prefer some evening daylight. Especially when I was working day shifts in the summer - I could sometimes take care of the yard a bit after work.
Mornings in the winter, coming home at 6:00 AM, it was dark, but in June if I didn’t get home early enough, it was starting to get light out by the time I got to bed.
I have to say, I retired in January and despite being busy, I do NOT miss those rotating shift hours. I did them for a good part of 25 years, with a couple of breaks here and there.

Everyone I know who has talked to me about the DST and reverse, hates it, and takes weeks to get used to the changes.
