“You’re going to regret this!”
That was the warning a Rhode Island prosecutor gave police officers as she was being handcuffed outside a restaurant on Thursday.

Entitiled lib women FAFO.
This is a classic.
I suspect that she is out of a job now. If she still is an employee of the state, something is seriously wrong.
Alcohol is usually not your friend.
Such a feeling of entitlement! I’m glad the police proceeded with arresting them.
“Newport” is not your average town. It’s for the elites.
Love how the younger blonde screams the boyfriend’s name and you hear him in the background saying Im right here. He’s smart enough to not want any of this action. Both of these idiots careers are over.
Who trained these cops? Took them forever to get the cuffs on and secure them in the vehicle.
Indeed, a history of attracting the wealthiest of the wealthy along with Palm Beach. Old Money as they say.
The musical version of “The Philadelphia Story”, “High Society” was relocated to Newport for that reason.
I did some checking and they were on a public right of way. Sure, they were boneheads but they did not enter private property. Don’t be surprised if the dummies win in court and get paid by the town. It appears to me that the city has allowed the eateries/bars to encroach on public property. If the place they were trying to get in to does not have a deed or explicit rights to the sidewalk all these women were doing was redressing their grievances with public servants.
IMO, bad arrest.
Why is she screaming for her boyfriend?
She’s a strong, independent, boss babe that don’t need no man!
What fools they both made of themselves. I despise loud and obnoxious females.
They’re not going to win the case on those grounds, anyway. Both Newport and the state of Rhode Island have well established laws that cover outdoor seating areas for bars and restaurants. In fact, the office where this AG works (or used to work) probably has a few cases in its files involving this type of operation.
Thanks for the information. It’s quasi public space from what I saw online.
I suppose their only way out is to beat breath/blood.
Very moronic on their part but you can see why she works as a lawyer for the government.
Whatever fellow was with them was zero help but the reality is that he’s been down this road before.
As I’ve said for many years, the worse thing a person can say is “I NEED a drink”. I’ve seen alcohol mess up peoples lives more than anything.
Appreciate the feedback.
That was somewhat entertaining.
I wonder what they were doing to get ejected from the restaurant?
SWEET! In the Peoples Republic of Rhode Island, no less.
My parents had a summer place in Jamestown. We refused to cross that bridge.
The second one was doing everything she could to get tased but the cop wasn’t getting the message.
I’m still not sure if they were ejected, or if they were prevented from entering in the first place due to their intoxicated condition.
