I was just there day before yesterday!

It wasn’t the size of the mosquitos, it was the quantity.

I stepped out of the car and walked 20-30 yards to the sign that is the left turn into Alligator Alcatraz. By the time I got back to the car, I was absolutely covered in mosquitos.

I would guess 500-1000 were on me with more buzzing around.

I brushed off what I could but had to drive back to Naples with the windows down just to get the car cleaned out!!

They need to give the inmates some Deet or they’ll be bled out by the time they get back to Mexico.

The large mosquitos are male mosquitos - they don’t bite, they’re just annoying.

Mosquito Alcatraz isn’t so alliterative but whatever works.

Some are flight capable.

And have a stealth mode. 😱

Gee, maybe we need a Yankee version of Alligator Alcatraz...

Should get the old DDT Fog Trucks rolling again.

Kids loved to follow em when they went down the street.

Big mosquitos? The guy should try Leech Lake in Minnesota, especially during a storm. Monsters!

That’s because they feed off of 600 pound alligators. Very healthy!!

Snicker—Palmetto bugs will grow to 3 inches. And they fly. They can knock you silly if you get bonked in the head by one of ‘em.
