I finally had a good sleep. It was in two segments, but only spread apart by an hour. Better living through chemistry!

Judy, I really do appreciate you sharing the Bee post. I don’t routinely go to that site when I do some of the articles just don’t grab me.
But the ones you always posted I found very clever. It’s been mentioned before that you are a very good writer with that kind of mind, I wonder if they’d ever sponsor a guest contributor ?

When we get older our circumstances change . Due to aches and pains we’re less active, sit more. Food and beverage become our comforts
You have a hubby who likes to cook so great food is there for you.
When I stayed with my friend Jim recently in Ohio for a few weeks I had to chuckle when I opened his upright freezer in his utility room off the kitchen. His above frig was full of icecream and snack foods.
I needed to put in the food I just brought.. he was just out of hospital (COPD)n I told him I’d take care of meals.
3/4 was full of high end frozen meals. By high end I mean like Stouffer’s, Pepperidge farm, Marie’s - not the more reasonable ones you see in frozen food. He had a great variety and ate well. He also had frozen many meals from a farmers market . He’d go and pick out meat, pot, veggie from deli selection and freeze . He’d get maybe 10-15 at a time.
For someone who doesn’t like to cook this is great. He is now cooking some. At my suggestion he got and uses a crock pot. He can make up chicken, pork, beef with potatoes and carrots with great variet seasonings and prep and have a great meal with several days leftovers. I’d sent him recipes that he uses.
He took after his mom -who lived with him- for over a decade. Most all meals were this or takeout 3-4 times a week. Most of us couldn’t afford to do this.

Time will tell. I’m not impatient. That just grates on me. Just trusting Trump who trusts God but knows his own vision will work. Too bad there is such a massive effort to defeat his agenda

Actually, my turtle article is not my last published column. I just liked it more.
