Wow. They did that without even talking to you first? That’s rather inconsiderate.
Awww , luv kitties!!!
Thank you for the Rusty update. Sounds like things aren’t going as great as they could be there! I hate it when one thing after another happens.
That would be pretty neat if she wants to come to East Tennessee! Tell her to give me a buzz if she wants to come visit and check it out
Legally they are within their rights. Anything that hangs over onto someones property they can cut it off.
They are just being A-holes. When this was a brand new developement her dad would sneak out at night (we caught him as our house was being built) and collect lumber to cut into 3 inch strips and then he put up a fence with 2 inch gaps between. So he was able to see everything when we were outside. Usually people ask each other to go halves on the cost of a fence. In order for them not to see everything we put up another fence our side of his.
..
Freepmail for you, CB!

Hi ML! Sounds like you and MsB have a lot in common. Both riding cycle with spouses. Has your hubby died? Into Military support
Jemian rides her scooter (almost a big girl cyc) when she’s in Indonesia- her other home
I did a lot of heavy duty cycling over the years but mine was non motorized
This is the fourth summer I’m in NC and first with flea issue. Think it’s because we had a mild winter
Good museums in your neck of woods

I too have a keen awareness of “FEAR OF FALLINGl” due to osteoporosis and the complications involved with broken hip. That is why I stopped biking- an activity I dearly loved. In serious road and trail riding it’s NOT a matter of “If I will fall?” but how often and how serious. My body is a road map - the results on many incidents
MsB you are fortunate you were young when you broke that hip Add 15 years and as you well know broken hips in Elderly and throwing a clot are busom buddies
Busy day ahead. Will quickly check news and sign off
Wont be pinging list this week until New Thread

Just to name a few off the top of my head.
My husband took his own life in 2011.
FR was there for me. I will always treasure my relationship with this site.
I just sent her your message!
Does she have your phone number?
I hear you, Spunky!
That is so infuriating, and not fair!
So, now the neighbors (?) were cutting your Arborvitas WITHOUT your permission to do so?
The man who owns the huge swath of property on either side of my lot, sold a 3 acre lot to a married couple.
That’s all fine and dandy, EXCEPT that the neighbor guy
hates pine trees (but lives in Maine anyhow (?)-
He has built his house almost on top of us, and cut down numerous pine trees on both sides of his property.
Now, I can see right through his property which borders mine
AND I also have a glorious view of HIS house, and now can see the main drag too.
*Sigh*
Now we have increased traffic noise.
We are fortunate that he and his wife are really good peoples-both are EMTs-and her hubby is also a fireman.
So?
Gotta take the good with the bad sometimes....
But NOTHING in the book says we have to LIKE it!
*evil grin*
Blah..
I have an upset tummy and my back hurts..
Gonna take a short nap.
Hope to see you guys a little later.
have a good early evening!
Play nice!
*evil grin*
“Gotta take the good with the bad sometimes....”
Unfortunately there isn’t much of anything good with any of my neighbors. None are the least bit friendly.
I just got up from a short nap which I rarely ever take and now my nose is all stopped up and I have a headache. :-(
