Well, it brings me no pleasure to bag on Pepsi but the people have spoken with their almighty dollars.
Recently, Dr Pepper made its debut in the #2 slot, knocking Pepsi to the bronze position.
There's hope for America! Dr Pepper just toppled Pepsi and I am here for it Just when we seemed to be at our darkest hour, a glimmer of hope arose. NOTTHEBEE.COM

Now, the former king of pop (although it has been a few decades now) has been supplanted by what some may consider a surprising choice.
Yes, Sprite is now the country's third-favorite soda.
Let's be honest, these ARE the three best sodas. In places two and three are Dr. Pepper and Sprite, respectively, per the outlet. The former soft drink accounts for 8.3 percent of all canned soda sales, while the latter one is responsible for 8.03 percent, the outlet reported.
Pepsi, in comparison, only has 7.97 percent of the market, according to the outlet.
See ya later, Pepsi!
This isn't so much a hatred of Pepsi, although it is sorta gross, but it's more about how we, as a country, have finally got it right. Trump hasn't even been president for 6 months but already the three best sodas are now the three best selling sodas.
Now we've just got to fix the order and establish Dr Pepper supremacy.
About the only American soda available in Europe is Coke which I don't care for. Coke was doing great business in Nazi Germany. They created Orange Fanta during WWII, and it was a big hit there. The Orange Fanta sold in the U.S. and Canada, doesn't have the orange pulp in it like the Orange Fanta sold in Europe does.
They should make Squirt and Canada Dry with the bourbon flavor already added...
Agreed. I miss 7-Up Gold.
Back in the late 80's, 7-Up came out with a cinnamon flavor called Gold.
It was excellent.
We had Chocolate Soldier instead...........
The bomb at 120mg of caffeine but only sold in a few southern states and Wisconsin ….its how I wake up with two ice cold
Local grocery store here sells the real sugar Pepsi, which is pretty good.
Cheerwine’s good stuff. My wife is from NC and we always get some Cheerwine when we go visit.
Of what we can get around here (Arizona), I prefer Dr Pepper. Really don’t drink much soda, though.
I haven’t had a soda in decades. If I want a sweet cold drink I mix 3/4 of a glass with ice tea and 1/4 of OJ. Very refreshing.
Moxie should be number 1
I liked Mello Yello when I was a kid.
Birch Birch Beer..Can’t remember if I liked that or not..
only joking about the moxie...
Maybe time to try again. They do change the formulas for soda from time to time. I remember the first Dr Pepper I had having a distinctly and disgusting peppery taste. Its been a couple of other flavors since then. I suspect the farther we go in the past the more the local bottler mattered.
I gotta try that one day.........
And if you have ice cream around....well I don’t think I have to tell you what happens next..;-)
Never liked tea, hot or cold. The only time I drank hot tea was when I was in the hospital after major surgery, and they wouldn’t give me coffee.
Take a Dr. Pepper, our in a small bag of salted peanuts. Good Stuff.
"Soda Pop"
Probably because near anything beats Coke and it didnt come with all the stupid southern baggage which is why Im betting the Obama/Pepsi thing was coordinated.
