“Farewell to Oxygen on Planet Earth – NASA scientists predict Earth’s atmosphere will loss its ability to sustain life ...”

Not your typical commuleftwoke hitpiece blaming Wascally Wepublicans, vile America, vile progress, vile internal combustion engines and vile fossil fuels for loss of atmosphere and global/climate warming.

1. “And yes, the fault, once again, lies with the Sun, which is heating up more than it should and is going to alter carbon dioxide levels.”

2. “... as the Sun keeps heating up (something that is not new, it’s been happening for millions of years) a chain of consequences will be triggered that doesn’t seem very friendly for complex life ...”

Hmm, ya think maybe the Sun’s heating up, and more than it should, and been heating up for millions of years (I think this may predate vile, yiich, earth-destroying humans 93 million miles way) might have something to do with it, instead of Wascally Wepublicans, vile America, vile progress, vile internal combustion engines and vile fossil fuels? Maybe? Just maybe?

Back long ago, the Earth used to have a much higher percentage of both oxygen and CO2, but very huge asteroids and comet hit, burning them off. Which is why dinosaurs would die, if they were recreated today.

Anyone who read The Far Side, knows why the dinosaurs died off.

There is a lower bound of CO2 concentration around 150 PPM. Below that, green plants can't survive to generate oxygen by fixation of CO2. CO2 isn't a problem for humans until it reaches around 5000 PPM. We are currently around 420 PPM. There is no emergency. Efforts to "decarbonize" are a foolish waste of resources.

These NASA scientists need to “follow the science” to the unemployment line.

Many of us are sick and tired of keeping them on our payroll.

Once you dig in and determine the timeline, you realize this is more ridiculous scare mongering.

The transition could begin in 10,000 years. I call pure BS on that. They have no clue.

First, they have no clue if the CO2 will break down catastrophically. It hasn’t in the 4.5 billion years earth has been in existence. So strike one on that.

Strike 2 is the idiotic 10,000 year timeline. I don’t buy it. Not in the least.

Strike 3 is, I thought man was pumping the atmosphere so full of CO2 that runaway upward concentrations were becoming catastropic.

Theories. Guesses. That is all they have. It is all interesting as theories go, but completely useless and a coin flip or worse for accuracy. These are the same asshats who proclaimed that the Antartic ice sheet was melting, and I just read that the ice on Antartica is the thickest it has been in over 20 years.

Their guesses continue to be wrong, wrong, wrong, wrong, wrong. They have no clue. What they have determined is on possibility among hundreds because they can’t control for the thousands of variables that will come into play over the next 10,000 years.

Untill then, there are just about three ways a near/complete global extinction event can happen.

Volcanic.
Extraterrestrial-meteor, comet, etc.
Or global nuclear war.

Wanna bet which one is likely?
I’ll bet on nuclear war.
