Their wallets were in a Disney World of hurt.
A Florida father left online viewers speechless after revealing that he paid nearly $1,400 to take his family of five to Disney World for just one day. A video detailing the exorbitant price tag has amassed over 7.7 million views on X.
“Here’s what a day at Disney cost me for a family of five,” explained the unnamed patriarch, who documented the price of tickets, parking, meals and snacks, along with items at the souvenir shops.
Before even embarking on the money-hemorrhaging adventure, the dad reportedly shelled out $30 for all-day parking at the attraction, which is located 20 minutes southwest of Orlando by car. The total cost of tickets for the quintet, including a child under 10, clocked in at an eye-popping $974 — approximately the cost of a round-trip flight from New York to Rome.
Snacks also took a big bite out of the fam’s finances. After their first ride, they bought two water bottles and three ice creams, which set them back $29.50. Meanwhile, a pretzel for the kids and a beer for the dad cost another $19.
After lunch, the family visited the Star Wars: Galaxy Edge park, where they dropped an astronomical amount on various cash-in products.
These included a “Star Wars”-themed Coca-Cola ($6.50), a churro, margarita and water ($36), and some special blue milk ($10.29) that first appeared in “Star Wars Episode IV: A New Hope,” bringing their snack expense total to a shocking $101.29.

Would have had more fun at a Super Walmart. And cheaper too.
“You really are obsessed, the article is about changes made at the time, what error are you talking about, the quote is an accurate quote.”
Only it was seven years old which was not given.
Are those two quotes from different articles?
LOL, weird, you can answer that yourself rather than doing all this game playing, your questions are nonsensical.
Now you know what “economic rape” is...take out your wallet and then bend over and grab you ankles.
Plus you would not be supporting a company of groomers.
The prices keep the customer base where and exactly who they want.
Suckers.
OTOH, the high prices (which aren't new, the last time I went they still used A through E ticket types) will soon be blamed for the rise in fistfights and other intra- and interfamily violence at DW.
I remember speanding less then $150.00. For 2 adults
11 years ago my daughter bought me birthday tickets for the Washington Capitals vs Detroit Red Wings hockey game at the Verizon Center in DC. The Wings are our team. She bought Row 1, Red Line tickets and I found out they were over $600 each.
I looked at the prices a couple years ago and I think those tickets are at least a Grand.
It’s Disney. It’s probably a fetus with a bottle of rum in the other hand.
Last time I went to an amusement park was many years ago at Disneyland. Only lived a few miles away. Even back then it was horrific. Standing in line with rude foreign nationals babbling in multiple foreign languages, loud obnoxious tourist...All standing right on top you...Sweating, breathing, sneezing. Gak! Digging a trench on my property sounds more inviting.
Fast forward a few decades, look at society has declined, riots and brawls on airliners, full blown brawls and shooting at McWhopper over McNuggets...on and on...I can’t imagine going back there today. You couldn’t take me in a complementary fully stocked presidential limo with free tickets to bozo town....No thank you.☺
Get off my lawn.
I use to be such a sweet sweet thing until they got a hold of me.☺
When I read this I saw images of the Chevy Chase Vacation Movie dancing in my head..Look kids, Grand Canyon, ...Look kids, Big Ben,...LOL.
Disney world was woke and not a good place to go even many decades ago, it wasn’t so obvious the twisting of minds they were up to, and waste of money.
I actually love Disney World, but won’t go anymore. Prices and don’t want to give Disney money. But I do love the park. I’m one of the few who loves It’s A Small World!
It’s up to the families to decide. This idiot didn’t do his research. He just had fun and then realized he overspent. Pay up.
Disney world is increasing their attendance. It’s amazing how many go everyday. I live 40 minutes from it. I admit the parking pisses me off. 30 bucks!!!!!
Lots of foreign visitors go daily.
