I love coming on these threads and hearing everyone tell everyone else how to deal with their weight issues.
Here is a trick: Go see your doctor. Listen to what they say. Make a decision.
Listening to people who don’t know you, your history, or anything else about you is a fools errand.
There is often advice, that if taken by the wrong person, will affect them horribly.
Muscle is heavier than fat. Worry about body composition, not weight.

Good for you.
That makes a lot of sense.
I’ve heard that eating slow and stopping when you feel about 80% full is a good strategy.
Thank you’ve been looking, but can’t find a place to buy any
I’ve been on Ozempic for 2½ months, I’ve only gained 13 pounds...
Recipe, please?
How do you like Grok?
Foods That Can Increase GLP-1 Hormone:

As usual the answer is it’s already some foods = eat healthy. I did web search:
Foods like sauerkraut, bananas, fruits, whole grains, asparagus, barley, legumes, oats, vegetables, yogurt, chicory, garlic, and Jerusalem artichoke can be beneficial for the gut microbiome, which includes Bacteroides vulgatus. These foods are rich in prebiotics, which are non-digestible foods that stimulate the growth of beneficial bacteria like B. vulgatus.
Take a selenium/zinc/iodine supplement. My T4 and T3 levels stayed in the toilet even though I was taking Levo. Then I addeded the supplement and the numbers finally started coming up.
I feel so much better. It’s nice to still have energy after 4 pm instead of being a zombie.
The new research suggests gut microbes like “Bacteroides vulgatus” and their metabolites may help shape a person’s sweet tooth.
What foods increase Bacteroides vulgatus?
Diet significantly influences Bacteroidetes levels. Short-term diets rich in animal products increase Bacteroides, while long-term high fiber diets also support their dominance.
Those who eat a higher proportion of protein and animal fats have predominantly Bacteroides bacteria, while for those who consume more carbohydrates or fiber the Prevotella species dominate.
See post 54 for your answer.
Well, you must’ve researched more than me because I looked and looked. Thank you for the information. I eat a lot of those foods almost every day. I even make my own yogurt. It would be fun to be able to add a little bit to the mix.
I’m glad that you take in some vegetables. My husband has been doing mostly meat and eggs for quite a while now; and though it doesn’t seem to be harming him, I couldn’t live without some vegetables...
When he was still eating more widely, my husband made some chocolate ‘fat bombs’ using monk fruit or some other sweetener, I can’t remember. We had to keep them frozen, but they were pretty good as an occasional chocolate fix.
His recipe is something like this:

I lost so much weight I have to run around in the shower just to get soaked
