In connection with the opening, GM revealed an advanced design study Chevrolet Corvette concept car developed by the UK team as part of a global design project involving multiple studios that will see additional Corvette concepts revealed throughout 2025.
Concept technical specifications and assumptions: Body structure: Additive manufacturing body structure For low mass, manufacturing efficiency, part count reduction and driving agility Halo roof structure with wind shield center spar
Body panels: Additive manufactured structure exposed for light weight authenticity Part integration, panel count reduction
Closures: Full wrap around side glass to deliver Apex Vision Powered wing door design
Aero-Duality: On-road efficiency and on-track performance in harmony Fan assistance and active ducting to redirect air over and through the vehicle On-road: flowing forms, functional intakes and vented surfaces On road: air directed through vehicles to fill its wake, increasing efficiency and range On track: like an aircraft wing, aero surfaces reconfigure, dorsal fins deploy and spoiler venting creates aero vectoring to enhance cornering performance Sculpted underbody, lowered ride height and fan assistance delivers ground effect
Chassis: Racecar inspired, package efficient, pushrod suspension set-up
Interface: Windshield center spar augmented display
Dimensions: 1033mm tall / 2178mm width / 4669mm length 22inch front wheel / 23inch rear wheel 127mm seat height – race car inspired

My favorite as well.
Possible engine inlet air and/or brake cooling.

I don’t see that coming in a convertible or T-top configuration.
Yep. I had ‘66 327/300. Same color (Milano Maroon), w/Buckskin interior and tan top. Loved that car.
Where would one park it?
Brake cooling with more downforce.
Why need to design in England? Shoulda’ designed it somewhere more friendly to us.
Not next to a Tesla.................
Corvettes used to be about 50 percent more than a Impala. The pricing has gotten way out of hand. I would prefer a v6 or v8 Miata with a clutch and a convertible. Having a car that goes 200 mph in 5 seconds with an automatic and a seating position like a dentists chair is useless for me and many others. GM could never build a nimble car.
It’s part of a competition. Two more concept designs are due this year.........
HALF the streets & roads in the USA cannot be traversed with ZERO clearance-—To say nothing about home driveways——
probably more. So probably not so great as a daily driver.
I didn’t see the flux capacitor option.
EVs will flop and this will be no exception .
It’s ugly.
“Just want a v8, 2 seats and a clutch. All I ask.”
What are you driving now?
