I personally know of two people who died of dementia, who were widowed for many years and got it when they were in their late 80s.

OTOH, I also know of 2 people who have it now, and are married.

Studies can be made to say ANYTHING!

I personally doubt this, because it seems to me the more you have to learn to adjust to new situations they healthier your brain is. If this were true, than studying anything should cause dementia because you’re having to learn something new.
