@PeterSchiff
Senator @RandPaul is right to vote against the proposed spending bill that includes a $5 trillion increase in the debt ceiling, the largest in history. The Republicans will own the record as the biggest deficit spenders until they lose Congress in 2026 and the Democrats break it

Trump has always operated on debt. His real estate empire was built on it. Will tariffs pay it off this time? No.
Iβm not ok with this. I didnβt think we would print more money.

I wasn’t ok with it when “we” voted to raise the debt ceiling at the end of May 2023.
They need to get the DOGE cuts codified into the budget
PS: hypocrites like Rand Small lament tariff which will automatically decrease the deficit by at least 1/5 ( $1B/day in new revenue ).
That would be nice but it’s not on the table at the moment
Raise the debt ceiling.....
I don’t know how or why you do this...
Being in Agreement with McConnell, Murkowski, Collins, every liberal politician and media source....
All to show your distrust of President Trump.
The tariff will take in by my estimation $1B/day. The Feds overspend to the tune of $5B/day. The new tariff revenue will give an immediate 1/5 reduction of the deficit. You got a problem with that global boy?
You always find an excuse, libetarians do not excuse this sort of thing no matter who is in charge!
That is the difference.
I dont agree with it. Trump and everyone else raged against the amount of Debt Biden racked up. That said, does Trump intend to borrow 5 trillion more? I hope not.
“At the moment”
I think Trump will present a balanced budget to Congress and dare them not to pass it.
That’s not correct.
On One or Two issues maybe they vote similar because they have TDS and for differing reasons.
I do not have TDS it’s policy orientated or do you want Rand Paul thrown out the GOP?
BS.
Your TDS is now wide open as you post dozens of threads praising Rand and his opposition to Trump.
You can try and couch your disapproval of Trump by centering on your disagreement with his tariffs, but you’re not fooling anyone.
I’ve previously told you that Paul is generally OK most of the time, but you will not let his wrong opinions on tariffs rest.
You, sir, have an agenda.
I have no idea how they score it but it’s not something they should be voting for
This is Biden spending levels— something you would have been against a few months ago.
All it means is a longer period before it gets raised again instead of fighting so often.
It’s not BS
Do you think there is room in the GOP for dissent and for Rand Paul ?
No one has said he ought to be thrown out of the party for heresy. A few people don’t like him speaking out but that’s it
There isn’t the will to balance the budget in one fiscal year. The debt limit has to be raised. Not my preference but I know the reality of the situation.
