It may sound like the outlandish plot of a poorly conceived science-fiction flick.
But some scientists now claim that humanity, the Earth, and everything else in the universe are really part of a giant holographic projection.
While this might sound all too familiar to fans of The Matrix, this bold idea could solve some of physics' most challenging questions.

When they suggest we might be “living in the Matrix,” they’re not saying we’re in a simulation run by machines or aliens.
They’re suggesting that reality might not be what it seems—not because it’s fake, but because it may be fundamentally structured in a more complex and abstract way than we perceive. For example, what appears to be a 3D world might actually be encoded in 2D data.
The article isn’t that outrageous when we consider that we already know the world isn’t exactly what it appears to be. What feels solid is actually empty space filled with atoms, whose boundaries are defined by electron clouds repelling one another.
What looks like color is simply the reflection of specific wavelengths of light. So even in classical physics, our everyday experience is an interpretation of deeper, invisible structures—making theories like the holographic principle less far-fetched than they might initially sound.

More parsimoniously means that the material world derives from the thoughts of God. But the thing most clear is that it is not simply there without owing its existence to something more real.
Buzz Aldrin is often mentioned in relation to a video clip where he appears to hint that no one has been to the Moon in recent times. However, the context of the interview suggests that Aldrin was explaining why there hadn't been a return to the Moon, not that the original Moon landings were fake. In other interviews, Aldrin clearly states that he did go to the Moon. The misunderstanding likely stems from the editing of the clip, which can change the meaning of his words.
Buzz Aldrin: Second person to walk on the Moon during Apollo 11, but a video clip has been misinterpreted as him admitting the Moon landings were fake. The other explanation id that Buzz was joking to feed the narrative that is was fake for his own personal amusement.
So, for those reasons, I do not think we are living in a hologram. Some space exists beyond our planet. Is it as large as some estimate?
I doubt we humans will ever realize what the truth is with regards to the size of the Universe.
Perhaps once we disrobe from our earthly bodies coverings, we may remember what the truth is.

The hologram is created by consciousness. Thoughts (consciousness) manifests in the physical in various octaves of reality.

Yes. This universe is real, in the sense that all measurable physical properties are really happening per the Standard Model. It is not fake, and it is not a simulation.
But what does HP imply? It means is that our reality might be embedded in a much larger reality, one that is bigger than we can possiby imagine. It might even be a hierarchy. For example, we know there is a Third Heaven (2 Cor 12:2).
God's house has many mansions (Jn 14:2). We won't know for sure how it works all until we meet our Lord face to face, but it is interesting to think about.
