Not all of ‘em. Two parsnips and and two turnips just drove by my house in a convertible. Wait, what? ;^)

My brother! :^)
Don’t like watermelon?!? It’s best eaten outdoors, which is convenient, because that’s where we grow them here. :^)

There’s one veggie I wish I could forget: eggplant. It's all in the preparation. As in Eggplant Parm.

“There’s one veggie I wish I could forget: eggplant.”
Dad was a country preacher, and church members who were farmers would leave fruits and veggies at the back door for us. If we kids saw eggplant before our parents did, we’d throw it into the creek. Gross.

How many of these, if planted here, would be considered invasive?

The wife loves rutabagas for Christmas, making more than anyone would eat. Can't stand them myself, but guess who gets to consume the bulk?
As to turnips and parsnips, in stews they are great. We should grow them.

They do sound kind far fetched, lol. If not for my grandpa’s back porch kumquat plant I probably would’ve figured they were a joke too...

I think that’s where I got scorzonera seeds (which aren’t seeds per se, they’re julienned root) the time I grew them.

I was raised up eating watermelon but somewhere I just lost taste for them. Can’t stand the smell even.

They’ve got to be ripe though. Same goes for muskmelons. I really, really don’t like the honeydew.
I’ve tried growing some of the heirloom melons (charentais, others) but never had luck, probably didn’t have enough growing season or something.
I’ve never tried Casabas, Canaries.
