I was raised up eating watermelon but somewhere I just lost taste for them. Can’t stand the smell even.
They’ve got to be ripe though. Same goes for muskmelons. I really, really don’t like the honeydew.
I’ve tried growing some of the heirloom melons (charentais, others) but never had luck, probably didn’t have enough growing season or something.
I’ve never tried Casabas, Canaries.
