Electromagnetic radiation is used to make electric power at the Ivanpah Power Plant in California. The guys at the plant call the smoking birds that drop out of the sky "streamers" because the stream of smoke goes from mid air to the ground.
If we start beaming power around, make sure you aren't in the beam or you could be a "streamer," too.
