Democrats are struggling with which direction to take their party amid President Trump’s turbulent return to office.
Noting the hard-right turn of the country, some operatives say the party swung too far left, alienating moderates and handing Republicans firepower. But others say the progressive movement is where the energy is and where it will continue to be in the future.
“Part of the reason we are where we are is because our party became almost too big tent and we sort of lost our way,” said one Democratic strategist. “No one really knows what we are right now.”
At the same time, more centrists say they don’t recognize the Democratic Party anymore and don’t identify with it. The standard operating framework is no longer working and Democrats are having a hard time transitioning. “Our party is gone,” said another prominent operative. “That’s why Republicans ate our lunch.”
One case in point: A bizarre video featuring House Democrats that showed a handful of congresswomen pretend-boxing in a video game-style mashup that read “Choose Your Fighter.” Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-N.Y.) self-identified as a “trekkie,” while House Minority Whip Katherine Clark (D-Mass.) is “not into hair dye,” some of the bullet point descriptors read. Rep. Judy Chu (D-Calif.), meanwhile, listed herself as “too sweet.”
Progressives are certainly looking for more attention and are trying to use the party’s identity crisis in a way that benefits them. Ocasio-Cortez and others in the House Progressive Caucus are using attention-grabbing tactics, while in the Senate, Sen. Bernie Sanders (I-Vt.) has gone national, tearing through red states and warning his party to wake up.

Sheesh, it’s so simple. All they have to do is perfect their messaging. How hard can that be? The “Choose Your Fighter” video of progressive Congresswomen was a spectacular start.
I kinda liked the direction they were heading under Biden, STRAIGHT TO HELL!!!
I suggest they do the country a favor and just continue to go Full Speed Ahead.

Did the Heron eat the frogs?
The frogs of Swampland had long lived under the rule of the old king, a heavy log that did little but float. Some frogs grumbled that life was unfair, that the pond needed change, and that they deserved a leader who would make things better for all.
So they croaked and chanted, calling upon the great sky god to send them a new ruler.
Hearing their cries, the god sent them a Wise Owl. “I shall make things fair!” declared the Owl, and the frogs cheered.
At first, the Owl enacted rules to protect the small frogs from the large ones, ensuring no frog went hungry. Then, he declared that all lily pads should be shared equally, for it was unjust that some had larger leaves than others.
Soon, the old pond customs were abolished. No frog could leap higher than another, for that was unfair. No frog could catch more flies than needed, for hoarding was selfish. And no frog could question the rules, for to do so was to threaten fairness.
But something strange happened. The strongest frogs, who once worked hard to build the best nests, stopped trying. “Why leap high when it brings no reward?” they asked. The cleverest frogs, who once caught the most flies, grew lazy. “Why should I catch my own when they will be given to me?”
With no incentive to strive, the pond grew still. The flies dwindled, the lily pads rotted, and hunger spread. Those who questioned the Owl were shamed, then silenced. And in the dark of the night, the Wise Owl swooped down to feast.
Only then did the frogs realize their mistake. They had wished for fairness, but found only control. They had asked for justice, but received only obedience. They had desired a king—and got a predator instead.
And so, the swamp fell silent.

Here’s the problem. There is no way forward
The confusion is Trump is merciless. He is defending our country from these horrible people.
Conservatives are getting used to him rather than continuing the rule by wimps
Anyone with any confusion needs toner wind the address to the congress. Just look at the joint chiefs
Now look at how they greet Trump at the close
These people are not Mattis. They have no concern for the aftermath of sanctioning people who do not protect and defend our constitution as either sworn or as enemies of the state. From within
They’re who Trump looks to who we are not aware of. The idea of going on tv for them is the furthest thing from their minds. You have to take the time to look them up. But do.

The party of destroying Women sports, letting perverts in girls bathrooms, starting ww3, and massive corruption is so asinine for not seeing why they are losing.

No they were allowed to act like they had power. The American people had to see for themselves. None of this could be happening without the support of the people. The people needed to be fully aware of the destructive nature of the dems.
They had Monopoly money, the entire media left of the best podcasts and on line shows. It was all set up. They set it up themselves. It imploded as all evil does
Now they have no leverage. They don’t understand leverage and the lack of it. They bully power away. Now there is no one and nothing to bully power from
Trump has no mercy and won’t allow them any power. He understands leverage. He knows when people fail to understand they have no leverage
The dems have none.
After the pink costume paddle fiasco they have much less. They were hanging onto strength in numbers power. Two hundred people and the lost Nicole Wallace like high schoolers. They’re done
The American people are now done pretending these horrible people have our best interest in mind
They’ll snub true victims. That temper tantrum was about their losing power to decency
Trump and MAGA are currently on an economic honeymoon. We need the growth policies to kick in. Otherwise, despite the cultural war and foreign policy wins, Democrats will have a potent issue.
