What everyone’s been down with for the last two weeks isn’t as bad as the OG Covid, but it’s weird in similar ways.

I got it before the inauguration. Yes, it was Covid. It has left me with some weird side effect that I will just have to wait and see if they disappear. It has messed up my ENT airway. I am doing weird snorts sometimes while inhaling sometimes exhaling and other oddities. Something is really jacked up.
I am experimenting to see what helps it.
Starting taking 1100mg of vitamin C in September. No colds or flu yet and I see 9 quite often snotty nosed grandkids each week.
Never a flu shot again!
Vaxx free 12 years and proud of it.
Pretty bad here in the San Fran Bay Area, too. I got it about two weeks ago and still coughing like crazy. Feel somewhat better, but not great.
I was wondering about it too because it seems like everybody that I know or know of who went to the inauguration got sick. They said it’s a bad flu. A bad bad flu. Besides that I don’t know anybody else who is sick except my niece up in Washington state.
> It has always been suspicious how US casualties of the virus were so many more than more densely populated countries.
Most countries didn’t have that many ventilators - which were basically a death sentence.
My grandson, who did not go to the inauguration, and lives in the SF Bay Area, came home from preschool with the flu last week. He’s over it now, but unless someone in his preschool went to the inauguration (highly unlikely), it’s not from there. Possible, but unlikely.
The a/c on aircraft is a sure way to spread a cold or flu. Kinda like a school or classroom.
Remember too, it was unusually cold in the District of Corruption, so much higher chance of getting the chills or flu.
IF it was a security issue bringing things indoors, I would suspect something more severe than a flu.
We have a family member sitting in a Mexican hospital this evening with Flu.
IIRC, 1985 Inaugural was colder than 2025’s.
Dan Bongino et ux came home from DC and talks about it on his show.
Jan 20, 2025 DC
The official temperature at noon was 27°F with a wind chill temperature of 14°F.
Jan 20, 1985 DC Temp was 7 degrees.
So yes, but not by an appreciable amount.
I feel bad for people who have taken the shots, I am afraid it has caused VAIDS amongst them.
Some times there isn’t a plot behind why things are done in DC
BLASPHEMY !
Guily! When is my auto-da-fe?
Prayers Up for Your Family ..
I’m missing an Old friend.

“We’ll Meet Again”
My husband and I live in the DC metro area, and had colds after Inauguration day, with major symptoms only lasting a few days.
Have suffered much worse at this time in previous years.
This seems like nonsense.
Because it was cold as hell, with snow and ice.
During the 2023-2024 influenza season, CDC estimates that influenza was associated with 40 million illnesses, 18 million medical visits, 470,000 hospitalizations, and 28,000 deaths.
That is impossible
During the 2020 flu season they had the flu down to less than 1,500 infections.../s
It’s simply magic that the flu has reappeared after a four year hiatus.
I’m with here in Bay Area
just coming off my 4th week.
a little phlegm and cough
Should end by Saturday
