Pretty bad here in the San Fran Bay Area, too. I got it about two weeks ago and still coughing like crazy. Feel somewhat better, but not great.
We have a family member sitting in a Mexican hospital this evening with Flu.

What I got day after Christmas was sore throat, cough that was not productive, no fever. Felt like when I got COVID so tested for it. Negative. Cough became very productive lots of mucus to point I would vomit. Finally about middle of Jan. the cough went away, except when I laid down at night.
