Elon Musk Endorses Post Suggesting Americans Are Too ‘Retarded’ To Do Skilled Jobs
Mediaite ^ | 12/27/2024 | Charlie Nash

Billionaire Trump surrogate Elon Musk endorsed a post on Thursday which suggested Americans were too “retarded” to be hired for skilled jobs.

After the South Africa-born CEO of X, SpaceX, and Tesla found himself embroiled in an argument over H-1B visas and the importation of foreign labor over American workers, a pro-Musk account wrote:

So basically the right split into two factions, tech right and right right, and the tech right is like “hey we need h-1b visa people to do the jobs,” and the right right was like “no you need to hire americans,” and the tech right is like “but you guys are retarded,” and the right right is like “well you don’t train us,” and the tech right is like “you can’t outtrain being retarded,” and while all this was going on we learned some people *really* don’t like Indians.

“That pretty much sums it up,” replied Musk, mere hours after defending one of his engineers who posted a series of racist, anti-White rants. “This was eye-opening.”

That pretty much sums it up.

This was eye-opening.

— Elon Musk (@elonmusk) December 27, 2024

On Thursday, Musks’s DOGE co-head Vivek Ramaswamy also received backlash after he suggested companies were not hiring Americans because they were raised in a culture of “mediocrity.”

President-elect Donald Trump announced last month that Musk and Ramaswamy would lead the newly-created Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE) – an announcement praised by many of Trump’s allies and supporters.

In the wake of remarks made by both Musk and Ramaswamy this week, however, many Trump supporters have begun to express concern over their involvement in the second Trump administration.

I want Americans in good jobs first. I also want Americans to receive superb educations which they have not been getting for many years now. We need to acknowlwdge that this is true in order to fix it.

I want the whole system shook up. No more government education and teacher Union Dept of Education brainwashing and indoctrination.

Do you think we can do that? The kids aren’t learning anything anymore and are unprepared for future success. It is really pathetic.

We need many more best and brightest and we need to cultivate that.

Bull. Big city public schools were never a source for engineering talent and IT. High IQ students are still found in magnate schools and private schools all over the USA. The only problem is smart people are well, smart. Kids know about fools like you that are ignorant and they know about H-1B and how it ruined IT as a career for US kids.

“Elon and Vivek are arrogant pricks. Now we know what we suspected was true.”

I NEVER trusted Vivek. I’ve seen more convincing snake oil salesmen rolling into Dodge on reruns of “Gunsmoke”. Elon was iffy.

Seems like they’re running roughshod over Trump and Vance.

A private business might need indians
America does not
I don’t care about Elon’s company or how much money he makes.

I believe you are the fool. I never mentioned Big City Schools. Kids are indoctrinated in universities, even engineering schools all over America, they may have brains but they do not use them because they have been infiltrated by the left who stood to gain by dumbing down Americans.

Every damn American sat back and let their government do it and that includes people just like you.

Your insults will gain you nothing either so suck it asshole.

You know, it really occurs to me.

There are a lot of gun control laws.

You have done NOTHING to successfully change that.

You clearly love gun control, you liberal slimepost.

Anyone advocating more H1Bs is a fraud.

Then entire H1B program needs canceled or is unsalvageable. It is abused wholesale and cannot be “fixed”

This has been true for decades.

It is not lost on me that immigrants helped us to win WW2 and the Race into Space. But there was a boom in STEM-type education following WW2 as GIs went to college and on to advanced study. Also at the K-12 levels to prepare them to go to go to colleges and universities.

Americans in all sorts of fields and occupations created marvelous new products, wonderous medicines, and advances in the sciences.

The United States took in the Vietnamese Boat People after that war and Cubans of the Myriel Boat Lift. Ronald Reagan gave amnesty to illegals in the 80’s in exchange for promises to secure the border that was later broken. Scientists, pilots, and artists from Europe and Asia defected to the United States and were celebrated.

Americans as a rule are not racist nor against immigrants. We have gone through their periods of perceived laziness and stupidity. But, when we are aware of the dangers of it, we recover from it and bowl over the world mired in their own continuing troubles. We are in a bad stretch now, I’ll grant, but we can revover.

What bothers me about what Elon and Vivek have been saying of late is that they talk as if American mediocrity is endemic, can’t be overcome, and is a fatal flaw of an entire nation. Worse, they think that people with a particular skill set are readily interchangeable with any other or can plugged in to fill a vacancy anywhere on the globe. That all people, from their parents to their kids, can be inserted into another culture and bring the bad baggage of their old country and open it up here with no problems. The West shoulder-deep in finding out how wrong that notion is.

We’ve spent the last ten years in a DEI nightmare where qualified workers were hobbled in competing with those whose chief attribute were “intersectionality.” We pushed STEM on women and minorities that didn’t want or didn’t understand what would be required in excelling at it because our government encouraged corporations they did business with to set aside positions for them.

I’m heartily sick of the notion that United States citizens are inferior workers or bad people because a pair of oligarchs think so. I am not at all convinced that an Indian, Chinese, or whatever is in any way superior to our own. Or else why do they want to come here? The “Land of Great Satan?” The current failings we find in our country can be found the world over.

It is grand to have an advanced degree to provide for a family. But if such a one can’t even be a good neighbor or good teammate for all their education, they are not a net plus to the United States in my opinion.

Indian programmers are just programmers, same as Americans. They will just work cheaper.

They also may work harder. Immigrants tend to do that. However, there are always exceptions to the rule.

H-1B have no economic power and will be sent home if they complain about hours and compensation. They cannot switch employers, they are truly indentured. Do is this what we want for America? What American values are we upholding by doing that?

“I find they work more hours.”

Maybe. But ... On 9/11, the imported foreign labor at a top tech company where I worked, they didn’t work harder. In fact, they and the rags on their heads didn’t bother to show up at all at 8 a.m. Sus?

When I got to work on 9/11, I found an email warning of a possible terrorist attack that was sent to our foreign students.

Deep States, plural, are ginning up games of lets-you-and-him-fight.

Refuse to play.

And if you don't believe me on the plural part...

Cracks appear in Maga world over foreign worker visas
