Car decked out in Christmas lights pulled over by cops as they warn against showy stunt

Wyoming Highway Patrol posted a photo on Instagram of a Ford Mustang decked out in multi-colored Christmas lightbulbs.

“As the holiday season approaches, we would like to remind you of a Wyoming statue [sic],” the post reads, “no person shall drive or move any vehicle or equipment upon any highway with a lamp or device theron capable of displaying a red or blue light visible from directly in front of center or thereof.”

For me the biggest surprise in the article was that it affirms the existence of the Wyoming state highway patrol. With so much area and such a low population I virtually never see them. I wonder how many troopers we have across the state?

Most states it’s illegal and all non emergency vehicles can only use white or yellow. I know texas allows for use of Blue by non emergency vehicles, but not red.
