What Happened to Jimmy Carter After Kamala Lost? (vanity)
FreeRepublic ^ | Nov 8, 2024 | (self)

Jimmy Carter turned 100 October 1. He lived long enough to vote for Harris:

Jimmy Carter Achieves His Goal, Lives Long Enough to Vote for Kamala Harris (FreeRepublic thread)

So... what happened this week when she got totally crushed by POTUS47 DJT?

I haven't seen anything in the news. I kind of expected he'd take a look at the election results and croak.

Anybody know what happened to ol' JC?

He’s planning his reunion with his puppetmaster, Zbigniew Brzezinski.

I saw an AI generate video where he says “You kept me alive for this?”

According to Greg Gutfield, when Jimmy Carter heard about the election results, he asked, “You kept me alive for this?”

I don’t know why I feel the need to correct a FReeper every time I see an incorrect reply as to the worst presidents.

But I do.

I often see people who totally forgot Lyndon Johnson was president. He’s in the top 3 with Bammie and Biden. Not Carter.

Carter hardly makes the top 10 list.

Well, I guess that is what makes a horse race.

LBJ was certainly terrible, so I can’t fault your reasoning.

But like arguing whether cancer or Alzheimer’s is a worse way to go. Valid points all around.

"Carter pardoned all Vietnam War draft evaders on his second day in office."

President Trump should consider following Jimmah's example, and pardon and release all of the J6 prisoners.

I think Jimmy is like a car you turn off but it continues to diesel for a while.
Trying to die...just can't.

What’s interesting about those “worst president” lists is that hardly any conservative agrees with any other conservative when it comes to a complete list.

My bottom three, in no particular order: Wilson, LBJ, and Bush II.

Bush II makes the list because he had a once in a millennium chance to crush radical Islam. But instead he told us “Islam is peace”. Then he went and started a bloody and unnecessary war in Iraq. That upset the whole applecart in the region.

Anyway, yeah. Carter is not on my list.

Well, he wasn’t “there” when he voted— and he is really not “there” now. Hopefully drying up to blow away and take his GA solar peanut farm with him. (Powering Plains, GA entirely so they say— but nearly every building and business building in Plains is a federal property in the “historic” bullcrap district). Good riddance to a real buffoon pastor of the world. Georgians, real ones cannot stand carter and his cocaine running rocknrollers.

“””He lived long enough to vote for Harris”””

Your question presumes that Jimmy knew that he had voted and who he even voted for.

It was classic elder abuse when they wheeled out Jimmy and he supposedly voted.

Right.... sarc. And, he was a “newclear engineer”... heh- only he was NOT ever one. The Naval Academy did not graduate nuclear engineers then. Carter went and did not finish the NUPOC program cause his daddy died and he quit the navy to run a peanut farm and grift into the GA governorship.

The Carter Center nearly entirely funded by the Talwaleed Saudi Royal family until bin Salman took all of them out and emptied their bank accounts. A medieval “pastor” who never met a dictator he did not LOVE. Including the Castros.

You make a fair point about Carter’s behavior in regards to the Middle East. Some of his actions seemed to have an antisemitic tinge to them. I dunno. Maybe that’s just my imagination. Maybe not.

So I will judge him as an imperfect and flawed man. And as I noted, we are still paying for his mistakes. But I still wish him well. His evil (for the lack of a better word) is so much less than that of Obama or Biden.

Permit me to add one more thing to my post #35. Back in 1979 Carter brokered a peace treaty between Egypt and Israel. That treaty has held for four decades. That’s pretty impressive, given how messed up that region is.

Carter does not deserve the majority of the credit for that. But he does deserve a slice.

Pretty clear that it was Dick Cheney who misdirected and self profited from the non-capture and pursuit of bin Laden-— in Iraq.

Dick Cheney really was running Bush II and through is bozo, de-Reaganizing daddy GHWBush— the “china hand” see eye ehhhhh clown who was an immediate one-termer. Because he was supposed to be... to deliver us into the disgusting cokenose pervos... the Clintons and their gang of thugs.

Agree with your Wilson, LBJ and Bush II. The WWII FDR/Truman debacle solidified the Communist infiltration of our intel apparat (under the guise of being our “allies” against National Socialists— who now run Germany and the EU. All that death so that Stalin got all he wanted at Yalta and Potsdam- a disaster positive for World Socialism we face today).

I do too, and I think the best for him would be “the long sleep”. He has been kept alive for political purpose I fear.
