WE’RE ALL GONNA DIE!!!!............AGAIN!......................
If the California can survive Newsome, the Earth can get through this storm.(they forgot women and children will suffer the most)
Let me guess: they found a solar vortex on the sun.
Solar climate change death ping! LMAO!
This could be disaster. We need to implement a new tax to counter it.
Thanks Red Badger. The CharlemagneEvent keyword, sorted:
I have, yet another, dumb question: Does this interfere with the accuracy of carbon-14 dating?
Yes, it creates more carbon-14, so the item appears younger than it really is..............
Dendrochronology antedates radiocarbon dating, but as the technology arrived and then improved, it was possible to use smaller samples, so dating individual rings led to a merging of the two disciplines. You may have seen "calibrated" and "uncalibrated" RC dates? The calibrated results have been "wiggle matched" to see where the sequence of C14 variation matches up with the contiguous data gathered over years.
“calibrated” and “uncalibrated”
I’ll keep an eye out for that.
I hope I die in my sleep like my Grandpa did...not screaming and begging for their lives like the passengers in his car when it happened!
Ba-Dump-Dump! *TISH* :)
Will Earth be friend to a crackly crunch, or baked to a delicate crunch? Asking for Chester Cheeta. ;)

Amy Hessl, professor of geography at the WVU Eberly College of Arts and Sciences.
“If one of these events were to happen today and you were on a high latitude flight flying to Norway, you’d probably receive your lifetime dose of radiation on the plane,” Hessl said. “And if you were in space, it potentially could kill you.”
Well Amy, I ain’t in either one of those places, so I ain’t going to worry about it. I didn’t see the sun come up this morning however...because it’s raining here in central KS.
Solar flares are like firehoses. If it ain’t pointing at earth while it does its rotation there will be no effect. Solar particles go straight out. They don’t weave about. If you can see it pointed away from you then you are safe.
If they are charged particles magnetic fields will alter their trajectory to a lessor or greater extent depending on the field strength.
I wonder what trees are reliable as opposed to the unreliable ones.
Didn't we survive the last one?
In fact, did we even notice the last one?
