Vanity: Advice need for post election unrest
Vanity | 10.23.24 | End Times Sentinel

Folks, advice needed:

I live in South Philadelphia, the heart of the inner city.

Some non-negotiable things: I’m not moving, I won’t surrender the ownership of my home, no surrender.

So, in anticipation of the Election, I’ve stocked up on batteries, lanterns, charcoal, matches, canned goods, fire extinguishers, cash, gold, candles, ammo, non-firing weapons, first aid supplies (wife is a Nurse) and gasoline.

Anyone better versed in this than I am have suggestions which I may have overlooked?

“””””Prepare hoses for fire suppression on your personal property (pre-water with stored garden hoses, which may also be used later),and/but garden hose is generally inadequate for most household fire suppression.””””

I installed a hose bibb in my kitchen and keep a hose close to it to put out a fire from the opening in the attic or in any part of my small house.

Good planning and anticipation of possible problems !
A friend of mine, who lived in New Orleans at 10 feet below sea level was caught in Hurricane Katrina.
He had the foresight and anticipated possible problems if the pumps at Lake Pontchartrain gave out or got flooded out.
He put an axe in his attic in case of being trapped by rising flood waters.
When Katrina hit, the pumps quit, and he climbed higher in the house as the waters rose, along with his wife and family pet.
Eventually, they were trapped in their house attic, he pulled out the axe and chopped a hole in the attic roof and awaited rescue on top of his roof. He, his wife , and the family pet were among the first individuals rescued by helicopter as the the hurricane passed.
In his case, he anticipated a solution to what was regarded as a possible problem of rising flood waters.
As you also did, he rationally anticipated a solution to a remote, although a possible problem.
Anticipate, don't put yourself in a position where you have to emotionally react to a difficult circumstance; cooler heads and preparation should always prevail.

Louis Pasteur’s quote, “Chance favors the prepared mind,” means that the better prepared and more knowledgeable you are, the more likely you are to take advantage of any chance opportunities or observations. Only the prepared mind can seize these opportunities, as history and Nobel Laureates have shown through their dedication and readiness to learn from failure and unexpected events.

The way attics are made, a crowbar, small saw, hammer and hatchet would be very useful.

I’m real big on the idea of keeping the tools needed to break through concrete and removing dirt and debris to escape from home bomb shelters and tornado shelters, and people who don’t know tools should know to buy or shop at garage sales for durable tools for their survival situations, a cheap Chinese hammer or cold chisel is fine for unimportant normal usage but if your life is depending on it you need the old quality stuff from garage sales or the new expensive versions.

Itching in butt has disappeared since I began using bidet.
Not to mention using smaller amounts of toilet paper.
Bidet DY Kits are available from Walmart, very easy to install. Just need an adjustable wrench tool.

EVEN IF YOU HAVE ENCOUNTERED THE INCREDIBLE SCAM THE DEMOCRATS WILL PROBABLY ATTEMPT TO EMPLOY, SUGGEST YOU READ ABOUT AND SHARE IT AGAIN.
AFTER ALL THE CRIMES THEY HAVE ALREADY COMMITTED, WHAT’S ONE MORE?
YA’ KNOW, AT SOME POINT, FOLKS ARE GOING TO HAVE TO STAND THE HELL UP TO THESE TRAITORS!

Suddenly? This hygiene has been routine for me for many years.

I suppose it started after I studied infectious diseases in medical school and residency and served as the infection control officer is several hospitals, in America and Europe. But that was more than 30 years ago, hardly suddenly.

If you don't believe in the germ theory, that's your problem.

If you don't mind smelling like doodoo, that's everybody else's problem.

If you can't recognize the truth when it confronts you, you must be a Democrat.

Actually you sound like the hysterical left, one can promote the use of toilet sprays or bidets without seeming like a nutty leftist talking about the earth dying in 10 years.

Just rinse out the cans. That’s 180 gallons of water.
If we lose water pressure were gonna be in deep doo doo.
We have a main FPL feed, we also have a backup generator with 10,000 gallons of diesel, and another set the run on natural gas piped underground. We lose all of that we’re in really deep doo doo. Andrew was the worst storm I’ve ever seen and the didn’t lose water.

Hang the wire from tree limbs and leave the hooks about head high. If they get hung up they need wire cutters to get out.
Drive different nails through plywood cover with dog feces bury at ground level. Fishing line hung at 4” off the ground sand hang beer cans full of rocks on it excellent burglar alarm. Cotton mouths make good tree ornaments as well.

Feminized leftists hysterics:
"your new discovery of the health hazards of toilet paper"

(actually more than 30 years ago)

"SUDDENLY the previous million years of a normal routine is now deadly"

(Yeah, like cholera, typhoid fever, polio, shigellosis, amebiasis, hookworm, tapeworm, hepatitis, etc.)

BTW, I hope this "SUDDEN" (to you) revelation, that a man's genitals, dangling in a toilet during defecation, splashed with contaminated water during flushing, and remaining unwashed, threaten diseases to others, will make you more responsible and less hysterical.

I also hope hand washing is not too new a discovery for you.

You assume a positive outcome is possible. That assumption is not a safe bet.

“”””Most people don’t have bidets, but it’s easy to shower after defecation. The cosmetic effects alone are worth it. The detrimental public health effects of not washing are comparable to not washing the hands after defecation.””””

!Don’t shower after defecating=not washing hands after defecating!
That is ridiculous, I sure hope the democrats don’t replace Fauci with you.

As someone who has talked up bidets for since the 70s and promotes them to people today and sold and installed a toilet spray for a neighbor in the past year, I will tell you that a person can promote the sprayers and bidets without being as crazy as you are.

You'll have plenty of influence over the Democrats and Fauci's replacement, feminized nutcase that you are, too squeamish to wash off. Water too cold?

You haven't fooled anyone. You are obviously a Democrat hysteric.

Learn to wash your hands if nothing else. Maybe you "progressives" can manage that.

Okay, Ansel, this silly spat has gone far enough. It was fun while it lasted, but it's time for us to behave like responsible men.

I bear you no ill will.

In fact, the fighting spirit is refreshing.

Best regards! ~SB

LOL, nutty as a fruitcake, and what a classic case of liberal projection you display.

Now you can push for all public and work bathrooms to be required to install showers.

Why “non-firing” weapons?

We have quite an array of firearms, but not everyone in the family is well enough versed in the use of them to be the primary choice.
