Trump books MSG rally to kick off final stretch of 2024 campaign: sources

Former President Donald Trump will host a major rally at the Big Apple’s iconic Madison Square Garden later this month, The Post has learned.

The event, which will be held at MSG’s legendary arena, is set to take place on Oct. 27 — nine days before Election Day — sources said.

A massive turnout is expected for the rally, which will be a first-come, first-serve event.

Trump, 78, drew about 16,000 fans for a raucous rally at the Nassau Coliseum in Uniondale, Long Island, last month.

The former president’s Bronx rally over the summer brought up to 10,000 Trump supporters to Crotona Park, which had a permit allowance of 3,500 people.

The World’s Most Famous Arena has the capacity to seat as many as 19,500 inside the main arena.

The Garden — home of the NBA’s New York Knicks and the NHL’s New York Rangers — is no stranger to political gatherings.

The venue hosted the Democratic National Convention in 1924, 1976, 1980 and 1992, as well as the Republican National Convention in 2004.

Trump should be very cautious. My doctor told me too much MSG is bad for our health.

Second thing that came to mind. First thing was the violence that will occur by protestors. We saw in the last few days the violent incidents in the pro Hamas demonstrations. Imagine when the full on marxists, BLM crazies and others join them. I think I know where he’s going with this. Expose his opponents for the totalitarians they are in a way the media cannot ignore. But it’s dangerous. The NYPD is best in the business at handling these events but the hate on Trump is enormous. Manhattan is not Nassau and Seventh Avenue is not Hempstead Turnpike.

I’m thinking this shows he feels his campaigns internal.polls are holding or improving and he can add non traditional swing states to the mix of remaining campaign stops. Will we see Dens start to retreat from areas they give up.on and concentrate on trying to limit down ballot losses in House and Senate? Reading tea leaves here and watching for below the radar moves from both campaigns that indicate what may really be going on.

Just as we've seen with J6 coverage, corporate media will spin any violence as Trump being the cause.

When did newspapers state a candidate’s age every time an article was written about him/her? Ridiculous.

Rupert Murdoch’s 93 (lol) NY Post has been printing Donald Trump’s age every time they print his name ever since he announced his campaign. They do it for nobody else.

Took a time or two trying to understand what MSG had to do with rallies. Just stop with the abbreviations.
