Assuming an initial body weight of 220, this is over 1000 cal per day deficit under BMR. That’s a bunch. While the result is impressive, what happens next?

Drugs! Take more drugs!

One notices "...developed by the Danish pharmaceutical company Novo Nordisk." That company's other drug which sells so well through aggressive marketing in the US is banned from sale in the EU, as dangerous to health.

Here's a novel idea. Buy no over-processed, sugar stuffed foods. Eat fresh and buy local produce. Stay active and stay away from corporate seductions for "weight loss."

I have lost 70 pounds in 2 years by eating less. I now get full on half the food I used to eat. Didn’t really cut out anything, just less at each meal. I just ate slower and quit when I felt full.

Have you or a loved one been harmed or possibly died as result of using the weight loss medication Amycretin? Then you could be eligible for a massive settlement. Just call Dewey, Cheatum and How

You don’t lose weight to get healthy. You get healthy to lose weight.

Fast weight loss results in sagging skin ... and sagging skin cannot be unsagged.

What are the long term effects of chemically induced starvation?
My guess is: Not good.

Wegovy (another weight loss drug) states plainly that after the weight loss, if the patient discontinues the drug, the weight comes right back. So, you’re on it for life (however short that may be).

R.B., thanks!

"In the first-in-human trial, amycretin appeared to have a safe and tolerable profile in line with the drug receptor classes. Side effects were mainly mild to moderate in severity and of gastrointestinal nature including nausea and vomiting."

Well, some have said that any weight loss resulting from use of daily apple cider vinegar is the result of the nausea from drinking vinegar. (Some British Medical Journal state this a few years ago, probably in support of modern pharma industry.) A more recent study in Lebanon indicates:

Drinking 1 Tablespoon of Apple Cider Vinegar Each Day Linked to Weight Loss in Younger Adults

The authors of the article circle back to the "nausea for weight loss" theory.

The Romans used vinegar--probably wine vinegar--as an energy drink so there is probably something to it. (Someone said Di-acetic acid is a Ketone?)

I lost thirty pounds in about three months just from consuming two or three homemade fruit smoothies mixed with a protein powder.

I am not going to pretend it’s the healthiest way to lose weight, but I feel much better. I weigh less than I did forty years ago when I was in basic training.

Patent protection and on-label application of another GLP-1 agonist. There's gold in them thar fat cells!!

Like the cousins, the outward side effect is that you crap like a goose. One of the reasons for the uncontrollable potty problems on airplanes. Who can say what else is brewing in the body because of it?
