Plastic surgery to remove the excess sags can be very effective.

"One serious but non-fatal adverse event was reported during the trial with 60 participants, according to the data presented at the conference. There were no reports of severe side-effects for patients taking amycretin, while there were a total of 242 reports of mild and moderate side effects."

So, what was this serious but non-fatal adverse effect?

R.B., thanks!

"In the first-in-human trial, amycretin appeared to have a safe and tolerable profile in line with the drug receptor classes. Side effects were mainly mild to moderate in severity and of gastrointestinal nature including nausea and vomiting."

Well, some have said that any weight loss resulting from use of daily apple cider vinegar is the result of the nausea from drinking vinegar. (Some British Medical Journal state this a few years ago, probably in support of modern pharma industry.) A more recent study in Lebanon indicates:

Drinking 1 Tablespoon of Apple Cider Vinegar Each Day Linked to Weight Loss in Younger Adults

The authors of the article circle back to the "nausea for weight loss" theory.

The Romans used vinegar--probably wine vinegar--as an energy drink so there is probably something to it. (Someone said Di-acetic acid is a Ketone?)

I lost thirty pounds in about three months just from consuming two or three homemade fruit smoothies mixed with a protein powder.

I am not going to pretend it’s the healthiest way to lose weight, but I feel much better. I weigh less than I did forty years ago when I was in basic training.

Vinegar, dilute acetic acid, of 5% is safe for human consumption.

Acetic acid of 20%+ concentration is poison.............

Patent protection and on-label application of another GLP-1 agonist. There's gold in them thar fat cells!!

Like the cousins, the outward side effect is that you crap like a goose. One of the reasons for the uncontrollable potty problems on airplanes. Who can say what else is brewing in the body because of it?

No, it's an acid. The carbonyl group (carbon double-bonded to oxygen, CO) has a hydroxy group (oxygen single-bonded to hydrogen, OH) on one side, which makes it an acid. The combined group (COOH) is called a carboxyl group.

A ketone has the carbonyl group with aliphatic carbon groups (like methyl, ethyl, propyl, butyl) on either side of it.

I worked with a lady who was morbidly obese who lost a lot a weight through surgery. She had the excess skin removed via surgery. Unfortunately she still ended up passing away. She had been to heavy for too long.

Pretty much every article with instructions that you would find on using apple cider vinegar for weight loss would specify 5-6 percent concentration, about the concentration used in vinegar and oil salad dressing.

Thread diversion and Chemistry for fun and education! Acetic acid at concentrations of 99% or higher it freezes at about 60 degrees. (Ethanoic acid.) And yes, can be dangerous. (As you already know!)

Click and go to place on video showing picture of "frozen" ethanoic acid (left bottle.)

https://patientsafetyj.com/article/116280-what-to-know-about-glacial-acetic-acid-stop-using-it

Multiple events involving patient harm from the use of undiluted glacial acetic acid have been reported to the Pennsylvania Patient Safety Reporting System (PA-PSRS). Glacial acetic acid is anhydrous pure acetic acid available in concentrations between 99.5% and 100%.1–4 Unlike acetic acid solutions which have various medical uses when diluted to different concentrations (e.g., 0.25% for irrigation, 2% for otic use), glacial acetic acid is highly corrosive; has no medical purpose; and has been associated with serious patient harm, such as severe tissue damage and third-degree burns.1–4

Why don’t you just do what the rest of us do to stop eating too much?: put your fork down and walk away from the food. Finish what’s on your plate and go.
