Thus endeth Lotus. Had been thinking about an older Evora for quite a while, but this move, announced a couple years back, was a huge turnoff for both practical and personal reasons. So I bought a new Corvette. Quite a lot to be said for high-compression, normally aspirated small block Chevy engine, and the damned thing puts a huge smile on my face every time I take it out (which is alot more frequently than I’d thought would be the case...). An ICE Lotus would be nice too, but I’ve ZERO interest high performance EV’s (driven a few Teslas). The tech is amazing (if overwhelming), but they’re not sports cars.
