As Tucker Carlson faces backlash for airing a friendly interview with a Holocaust revisionist on his online show this week, some prominent Republicans are publicly raising concerns about the far-right pundit’s influential position in former President Donald Trump’s inner circle — as he increasingly imports extreme views and fringe conspiracy theories into party discourse.

Nothing new under the sun.
I don’t see that here. I did see that in Ann Coulter, and I ALWAYS disliked Bill O’Reilly as a detestable blowhard, but I don’t see that with Tucker Carlson. Never listened to Savage. Just my opinion.

I watched the whole thing last nite
He’s not a Churchill fanboy like me
But he’s not a holocaust denier and also supports Jews and their homeland objectively often on his podcasts
Of course it’s never enough
That’s impossible
These attacks are used to hurt Tucker
And those pimping it here are lackeys for that aim
What we’re facing in two months and this is what these jackasses focus on
Of course if u check posting history of most
Well it’s no surprise
It’s why they are here
I decided to go right to the source to see what is the deal with Mr Cooper. Here is a Substack article titled “Antisemitism, pt. 1”
In a recent debate over the Israeli assault on Gaza, an interesting exchange took place between comedian and political commentator Dave Smith, and conservative radio host Dennis Prager. Prager is a prototype of a certain kind of conservative Jewish Zionist: a good-natured, sober-minded man who is simply a lunatic on the Israel-Palestine question.
well….that escalated quickly. Let’s looks further - a good way to assess this paragraph is to replace Jewish people with 2nd Amendment supporters:
One of the more puzzling aspects of the paranoid complex is that the sufferer will typically fight tooth-and-nail against any attempt to dissuade them from a worldview that psychologically terrorizes them. It is so common for hospitalized paranoiacs to collapse into depression and disillusionment after successful treatment that doctors plan for it. The patient finds it more tolerable to imagine himself as the object of everyone’s hostility, than to give up his sense of imagined centrality - or, chosenness, if you prefer. “They hate me because I am special. I am special because they hate me.” To test this in the wild, simply try to persuade someone like Winona Ryder that she doesn’t have to worry, that America is safe and will remain safe for Jews, that antisemitism, while it persists in pockets, has no purchase in our society or institutions. Like the paranoid patient, she will fight to defend the idea that there is an overwhelming conspiracy against her, and the very fact that you doubt it suggests that you might secretly be one of them.
I must say, I have been trying to read the Bible for the first time end to end (Just finished the Old Testament recently) and if there is one that that stood out apart from the religious aspect, is that human behavior is not radically different today than it was after Adam and Eve were banished.
The technology is different, but the same vices, flaws, lust for power, lies, and antisocial behavior has not changed at all. While the way these things are manifested have indeed changed, the underlying flaws in us as humans have not.
As you said, nothing is new under the sun.
The Nazis killed millions; especially Jews in particular. There is no denying the well-known facts. Facts know since during the years before the war ended. They killed Jews because they wanted to completely eliminate them (and Roma).
It’s called free speech. Each individual has to analyze and determine the truth. A wide variety of versions will bring out the truth and the fallacy of each presentation.
War is the number one EXPANDER of bureaucracy and stupid laws in the winning country
*I did see that in Ann Coulter, and I ALWAYS disliked Bill O’Reilly as a detestable blowhard, but I don’t see that with Tucker Carlson.*
Remember Morton Downey? Claimed skinheads attacked him in an SFO men’s room and cut off his hair.ops didn’t believe it and said so. Still, you may be right.
While liberals live by the slogan "No enemy on the Left", BoomerCons live by the slogan "No friend even slightly to the right".
Is Tucker Carlson still registered to vote as a Democrat?
IMO the people attacking Tucker & Cooper have a lot of insecurities about their historical viewpoints.
The attackers seem more like ideologues than historians.
All of this stuff is documented in official Nazi documents. Deliberate starvation was part and parcel of the Nazi plan for Eastern Europe.
You don't have to be a professional historian. All of this is very well documented by countless historians and detailed in volume after volume of books.
Republican defenders of the 1st Amendment! /s
I don’t like some of the things Cooper said and I don’t agree with some of the things Cooper has said but it’s his right to say them.
THE NAZIS KILLED 6 MILLION JEWS, AND PLANED TO KILL MANY MORE. DEBERITLY. WHAT 5HE H—L IS WR9NG WITH YOU?
Ranping up 5he Anti- Israel nonsense, huh?
“OY VEY, GOYIM, DON’T YOU DARE QUESTION THE WW2 NARRATIVE YOUR LEFTIST OVERLORDS HAVE SHOVED DOWN YOUR THROAT THE LAST 75 YEARS!!!”
Yes, with armbands.
