Thoughts as to WHY the Trump Team and/or GOP hardly talks about, brings up, or uses in campaign ads the assassination attempt?!?

It's prudent not to get ahead of the evidence when the FBI has control over large swaths of it. They could selectively leak (as they already have demonstrated) evidence to misrepresent the truth.

For example:

What the FBI showed (on the right) was not Crooks' backpack (on the left) and purposely left out key information.

If PDJT went after the story before all crucial evidence comes out, the left will have fodder to use to further crucify PDJT, even though in the larger picture, it's quite clear that the many layers of the USSS' seeming incompetence--each of which was so improbable and against their rigorous training--could only have happened as part of a larger plan to take out PDJT.

Perhaps the attempt was allowed/encouraged as an act of desperation by the Biden DOJ without the approval of the Deep State/Intelligence community. In retaliation, the IC then made Biden quit the race, forced the Democrats to accept the goofball Kamala as their 2024 candidate, approached Trump quietly, and promised him not to interfere directly in the Fall election in exchange for a few concessions - including one that Trump not make a big deal of the unauthorized attempt "for the good of the country."

Such a scenario may bode well for a Trump win in November, but perhaps not for the future direction of his Administration.

The assassination attempt was an event. Events don’t give people hope about their children’s future or about their ability to pay their bills. Trump needs to stick to policy and to Harris’ incompetence. The attempt shouldn’t be cheapened by being used a campaign prop.

Maybe you are right and maybe you are wrong. I HOPE that is what Trump thinks but unfortunately that’s not what he says.

He specifically said he would be “great for women’s reproductive rights”.

I would have loved to see him talk about state’s rights but that’s not what he did.

I fear he is being advised by either stupid people or evil people.
