Our national debt now equals all the money in the world!
American Thinker ^ | 25 Aug, 2024 | David Walls-Kaufman

Amazingly, the United States GDP is $16 trillion per year, and our national debt is now $35 trillion. Our biggest national expense is interest service on the debt. But we don’t all know that $36.8 trillion represents all the money in the world. Put that in your pipe and smoke it.

A few weeks ago, I looked up how much money there is in the whole world. I did this because I was making the point that if a person is sick enough and close enough to death, then all the money in the world poured into medical care will not bring him back. Furthermore, not all the money in the world spent on medical care will bring him back from any successive drop down the ladder of well-being toward the point of no return. Drugs are artificialities. They cover up symptoms, but they do not substitute for the holistic requirements, like good food, sound exercise, meditation, prayer, like chiropractic, that actually improve the body in multiple physiological ways.

The World Atlas says that all the money in the world equals $37.8 trillion. Our debt now equals all the money in the world?

Spending in the modern era is a Democrat thing. It bribes voters and also conforms to the Cloward-Piven strategy to end family, religion, commerce, enterprise, and Western civilization through debt-collapse into a rubble from which Gyorgy Lukacs, Wilheim Munzehberg, John Dewey, the Fabians, the Frankfurt School, Max Horkheimer, Antonio Gramsci, Theodore Arno, and many others hoped a socialist utopia would climb. The operative word is “hope.”

How did Democrats get us here? When did they start driving the “hockey stick” of social welfare spending skyward? In 1964, with the great War on Poverty. This jumpstart spending program was supposed to knock out poverty, disparity, and want...

No, no, there’s still $1 trillion left! Give them 6 months.

Just borrow another $100 billion and give it to Ukraine - that’ll fix things right up!

My old lefty economics professor at college said “we owe it to ourselves”.

The “experts” are insanely stupid and dangerous to children and other living things.

“ what is money? And where does it come from?”

To paraphrase John Lennon (in one of his worst psychological phases): Money is a concept by which we measure our pain.

Overnight our money could become worthless. Paper is cheap and they can run the printing presses forever. Just add more zeros! Soon we can pay off all our debts with funny money. Then it all goes bust and only gold backed BRICKs Money will be used as trade. The bubble will burst when the world finds out that Fort Knox is empty. Think 1929 was bad? See what 2030 will be like. Then will come the Neo-Fascists. Lots flags, torchlight parades, everyone gets a fancy uniform. Music, Parades, work for all, prison camps for any that stand in the way of the national will—Yes, and their will be a leader—a man all can look up too. It will be great fun—until it isn’t.

Democrats? Yes, the Democrats are more reckless. But this mess is due to Democrats and Republicans alike. Democrat presidents happily sign deficit spending bills. Republican presidents happily sign deficit spending bills.

It’s not a party thing. It’s a DC thing.

Fun fact: The last president to have a balanced budget each year was Calvin Coolidge.

That’s my prediction, too. Congress simply will not adopt a sensible plan to rein in spending, and slowly pay off the debt. So the only way out is hyperinflation.

And there will be riots. Today’s Americans are not nearly as civil as the old Weimar Germans .

There is a typo in the first sentence. The US GDP is $26 trillion, not $16 trillion ( which is about China’s GDP ).

If our debt was only 38 trillion…it could possibly be reduced through fiscal responsibility. The debt number we can never touch is the 300 Trillion in underfunded liabilities (SS, Medicare, Medicaid, pensions, Welfare, etc.). Why do you think we keep openly funding 400+ bioweapon labs? Vaccines? Water treatment? Bioengineered food?

The United States GDP in 2023 was 27.4 Trillion dollars not 16 Trillion dollars as the article states.

He may be right on the rest of the article but when you start off with such an error its hard to take the author seriously.

Thank you for referencing that article MtnClimber.

"Our national debt now equals all the money in the world!"

Our national debt is based on unconstitutional federal government taxing and spending as a consequence of the very corrupt, post-17th Amendment ratification (popular voting for federal senators) Congress abusing its 16th Amendment powers (direct taxes). (The repealable 16th and 17th Amendments effectively repealed the Constitution imo.)

From related threads ...

It's actually up to us Democratic and Republican Trump supporters to initiate draining the swamp by supporting hopeful Trump 47 with a new, Constitution-respecting Congress in November, new state lawmakers and executives too, not only so that he won't be a lame duck president from the first day of his second term, the new Congress also supporting him to quickly finish draining the swamp.

Finally, let's not allow the anti-Trump media try to fade our memories of what we witnessed on July 13.
