I've been a fan of watching YouTube accounts of Near Death Experiences lately. There are certain common elements:
Various neuroscientists have stated that simple biological processes of death produce these effects. Maybe the tunnel and the light can be explained by this, but the rest? No way. I cannot think that mere biological processes could manifest such a detailed series of accounts. Nor is there any evolutionary benefit to these processes, obviously... you are dead, right? Evolution is highly unlikely to be a factor here.
So this, to me, seems like quasi-scientific proof of a God. Now, religions have added all sorts of nonsense around these concepts, since almost to a person, the subject of an NDE describes a God that is utterly nonjudgemental and loving. So, take the 10 Commandments: Seems like the 10 Commandments were written to make OUR lives better, and it is not some cosmic scorecard that God is judging us on.
One person I know personally that had an NDE, would not talk a lot about it, but the one thing he did relate is that 'all the nonsense religion spouts? The beings on the other side, they don't care. Just be loving.'
And that aligns with what Jesus said: To love God with all your heart, and to love your fellow man.

In my travels through levels of consciousness, I’ve noticed many parallels between consciousness and the structure of the atom.
For example, Niels Bohr, the father of atomic physics and foe of Einstein discovered that when an electron decendes from a higher level to a lower level, it gives off a photon or light. Consciousness does the same. The higher level I go in consciousness the brighter the Light and the stronger the Love.
Thus, the Holy Spirit, which is consciousness coming down from God, I perceive as a liquid flowing and swirling Light.
The first orbital around the nucleus contains two electrons that spin in opposite directions. The same is true in the human soul as the two aspects of consciousness in the first layer of the soul are masculine and feminine that spin in opposite directions. They are held together with Love, which stabilizes the soul so it can reach highrr frequencies. Without Love, the soul cannot grow.
There are many other similarities. I’ve been studying quantum physics and am amazed at the similarities.
Consciousness is what causes quantum entanglement.

Religion(s) are just theories and philosophies of the anatomy and physiology of the human soul and how it interacts with its environment. They are for the most part correct, but incomplete.
I can understand the Bible far better ever since the human soul became physical anf material to my perception.
There is a higher level of understanding that brings all religions together without discounting them individually.
At that higher level of understanding, not only all religions, but also all sciences, psychology, medicine, and physics all combine into one unified body of knowledge.
Starting to rethink it. I seem to be a big fumblefingers today.
Maybe today is just a day I learn how to do a build, and defend my honor from spurious accusations. hehehehe

I not only lost my fear of death due to the NDE, it was so wonderful that there has not been a day in over 35 years that I have not thought of it and wanted to die to return to Heaven.
As to the taxes, I’ve been a CPA for over 40 years and a tax law professor. I still handle some IRS audits, collections cases and Federal Tax Court cases in retirement. No fear of taxes either. 😁

I’m glad you posted the thread. I’ve watched a lot of these NDE stories and the main question I’ve always had is why so many different versions of what heaven looks like? It seems to me that Heaven is Heaven and it should look the same to everyone.
After much reflection and philosofying my theory is that in a near death experience you aren’t really dead in the final sense.
Most likely Heaven is so beyond what our minds can perceive that if were suddenly shown it we would be overwhelmed. So Perhaps during these NDEs God gives us a preview using things our minds can readily accept and each person has a different perception.
When we actually die we will get to see the real deal and I doubt we will be floating around in a light orb or walking around endlessly in a field of flowers. 😏

One thing for sure. Heaven will have one heck of a band.
Life is filled with weird. But when they try to do something highly verifiable, put a sign up above the lights in the operating “if you come back from the dead mention this sign” and nobody mentions it. Meanwhile we know from fighter pilots that have had apoxia but managed to get low before it got fatal that a lot of the symptoms are similar to NDE.
I doubt, but I also am not trying to convince anybody. Whatever makes you whole is good. And there’s weirdness out there. I believe in possibilities, I just bring a lot of salt.
