I call BS. Having less sex is probably reflective of other conditions like morbid obesity.

Plausibly, more sex is a marker of good health, rather than a creator of good health.

Is that just sex with another person?

The sexless may not live as long as the more fortunate, but it probably feels longer.

Women who have sex less than once a week may be more likely to die early than those who engage in more regular intercourse

On the other hand, Catholic nuns on average have a VERY long life expectancy.

Just another attempt to turn our culture even more Sodom and Gommorahish than it already is.

Is that why women on average outlive men? Often times significantly?

Not being relationship connected has the same statistical actuarial effect on life expectancy as smoking a pack of smokes a day.

Why somebody did not tell me this before I reached age 84?
Note: still require no prescriptions or pain medications.

Could mean too that a lonely single lifestyle with decreased or absent physical affection is a detriment to one’s overall heath as well.

I heard that it’s climate change making people have less sex. Or is it more sex? Well, either way, it’s climate change’s fault! So feel free to add “women dying” to your list of Bad Things Because of Climate Change.

It depends who you are “shagging”. I would be if you “shag” a prostitute or some loose tail once a week your life expectancy is going to fall dramatically.

Walk through a catholic cemetery and check the lifespans of the nuns.

LOL...did they correct for other physical activity like walking, jogging, tennis, pickle ball, gym workouts? Sounds like a stupid, worthless study.
