A staggering number of U.S. voters think that Vice President Kamala Harris was at least partially involved in covering-up the extent of President Joe Biden's mental decline.
Biden, 81, ended his reelection bid last weekend amid a flurry of calls for him to step aside after a disastrous debate performance and ensuing weeks of flubs and missteps from which he could not recover.
Harris immediately stepped in as his replacement and took over Biden's campaign. Two days later, the VP earned enough delegates to become the Democrat's presumed 2024 nominee.
But a whopping 92 percent of registered voters in a new YouGov/Times of London poll say that Harris was behind the efforts to conceal Biden's failing cognitive fitness and physical wellbeing as his staff maintained to press and the public that the president was fit for a second term.
The survey of 1,170 voters taken July 22 and 23 asked whether they believed there was an effort to shield Biden's mental health from the public and who was responsible for the cover-up.
Fifty-four percent of respondents said there was a cover-up and 30 percent said they don't believe there was one. Sixteen percent aren't sure.
The switch-up in the 2024 election has left many with questions over whether there was a plot to keep Biden's cognitive health under wraps and who plotted to keep secret his declining health.
And 30 percent of those surveyed think that Biden should step down before the end of his term and let Harris take over now.
Of those who do believe there was a cover-up, a resounding 68 percent think that Biden's No. 2 was 'a great deal' involved in concealing his true fitness. Seven percent said Harris was 'a little' to blame, while 17 percent feel she was 'somewhat' responsible.

“Que mala” Harris is as much of a snake as “Herself”, Hillary Rodham Clinton. And with very nearly as much baggage.
Joe was doomed right from the first, she only had to lie (in both meanings of the word) in waiting for the opportune moment.
Given that Harris is a low IQ, cackling idiot who was put in the VP position only because of her brown skin and globalist background - I actually believe she had little part in the plan to prop-up the Alzheimers patient as President.
While she appeared in public and spoke the lines she was given - I don’t think they let this fool anywhere near the levers of power.
I just picture her coming in as a bombshell but ultimately being voted off the island by the public.

But in her defense (and I’m not AT ALL defending HER, per se)... don’t you think the optics of the sitting VP leading the charge to dump the POTatus would have been political suicide?

I don’t trust polls so am not sure it’s truly close.
It would be very instructive to find out what the real opinions are given a true choice, not just the two offered.
Throw in Tulsi or RFK Jr. and see what happens.
I would bet money that the D power brokers know they will lose. They wanted somebody else but with few viable candidates, along with those candidates not wanting to run against PDJT and that it looks weak not to pick Kamala, she was the only fall girl that could be chosen.
That said, they’re still going to run on ‘tax cuts for the rich’ and ‘abortion rights’, along with a good dose of fraud, and will have a shot...I just don’t think they can fraud themselves enough and the votes aren’t there for such a weak candidate. The media gaslighting will be vomit inducing and wake up more to the media lies.

This illustrates that Congressional action should prompt a designated ‘medical doctor’ to evaluate the head of the Executive Branch (a Legislative Branch designee), rather than POTUS’ biased ‘doctor’ under his umbrella.
‘Checks & balances’ so-to-speak.
His ‘doctor’ is just as complicity and should have his license revoked.
I agree that the Democrats will steal cheat in the 2024 elections. The question is will it be enough or will Donald Trump win by enough to overcome the cheating? I think Trump will still win. Gallup reports that Joe Biden has a 36% job approval rating on day 1278 of his presidency. On day 1280 of Trump’s presidency, Trump had a 41% job approval rating. Harris is linked to Joe Biden since she is Joe Biden’s vice-president. Biden being unpopular will hurt Harris enough so that Trump will be reelected as President.
It’s OK. She is now un-burdened by her past.
If they do fraud themselves to ‘victory’ - well...we’ll have a fork in American history.
You are correct. But Harris knew years ago that Biden’s senescence put the US and the world at risk, yet she put the effects ON HER of doing something about it above the public good. If it’s unfair for her to be in a lose-lose framework ... what a shame; she chose it going in.
Trump should be able to destroy Harris with this:
1) If Harris didn’t notice Joe was senile, that confirms that she is a complete idiot.
2) If Harris did know, she failed to act responsibly to protect the nation and world.
3) If Harris tried to cover up Joe’s mental and physical decline, she did a very poor job of it, as we’ve come to expect.
