I liked Buchanan quite a bit, but the GOP is much more like Ross Perot’s Party than his. Pat came from politics whereas DJT, like Perot, comes to politics from the business sector.

Pat was an outlier in his view, but he still was a country club Republican who did not truly understand the huge reservoir of political energy vested in Americas blue collar workers and their direct lift to the US economy.
