Pittsburgh's Action News 4 has learned from multiple sources that Thomas Crooks was spotted at the rally, photographed as suspicious and officers were actively looking for him when he made his way onto the roof and fired at former President Donald Trump.
Sources say the Secret Service was aware something was wrong, and the snipers were in position, but the pitch of the roof Crooks was on prevented them from seeing the 20-year-old until he moved to the peak and fired his weapon

If they thought the pitch of the roof was too steep despite SS snipers on a steeper roof And they know that building was vulnerable And they knew of an Iranian threat then congress needs to ask why no drone was deployed..especially after they lost sight of a suspicious guy.

The first known source for this detailed report was a series of postings on 4chan on Sunday at 16:03.
It smells like disinformation to me or a nasty prank. At least a report to be rated with a very low probability of being true. Beware of confirmation bias.
There is a name that goes with this report ("Jonathan Willis"). I have not been able to track that name to any real person that could have been at that rally. Maybe someone else with more time and better resources can track down that supposed officer.
I have been surprised before by unlikely reports that turned out to be true.
Let's see if the name turns up again.

There were supposedly three sharpshooters inside the very building he shot from.
Why wasn’t one of them stationed on top of that very building? It was an obvious line of sight position that should have been covered.
Plausible deniability. The spooks know how to recruit young loner goofball types that like guns like this kid and groom them to do crazy stuff like this. The spooks know the kid will get taken out and the spooks are safe from getting caught.

There was some conversation on the Q thread about the ears of Crooks and the guy Roger Stone’s sources said was the shooter, versus the ears of the guy in the photo of the dead sniper. It was about whether the ears had holes in the ears for holding some kind of jewelry. I can’t remember the word for it and I had never even heard of it before, but the photo of the dead sniper had ears that seemed to better match the guy Roger Stone talked about - an Antifa dude who had been arrested for violence at an anti-Trump rally.
I’m not good at analyzing photos or facial features so I didn’t pay much attention.
But I’m wondering if there were 2 guys who looked similar who were both involved and if that’s why there is so much confusion over how and when the shooter got up there, etc. GP had a report where a news station had sources saying that somebody was reported on the roof 30 minutes before the shooting started. But another one had Crooks on the ground at that time.
There were 2 vehicles there that were associated with Crooks - one small car that Crooks drove and a van that had AZ license plates. Crooks asked for Saturday off because he had something important but told his employer he would be back on Sunday. It’s been speculated that the van was supposed to have explosives detonated to create a distraction allowing Crooks to escape. But how did Crooks get both vehicles there? His home was what? 40 miles away? Why did he even have a van with AZ license plates?
I can’t help but wonder if the Antifa guy was on Discord with Crooks and met offline to plan this whole thing, and they somehow worked it together.
I’ve been thinking about all this stuff all day today. My brain is fried. I just really feel that we need to see the truth come out about this whole thing, break wide open the deadly, corrupt stinking corpse that is the Biden regime, and his handlers who turn everything in the country and world to crap.
Anyway, I’m wondering if what the folks on the Q thread was thinking was a hole for jewelry is the same thing you’re thinking is an exit wound.
