Secret Service Director Kimberly Cheatle told ABC News in an interview on Tuesday that a decision was made to put local law enforcement inside the building that gunman Thomas Matthew Crooks climbed on top of to shoot former President Donald Trump on Saturday instead of the rooftop due to the “safety factor” of putting someone on a “sloped roof.”

It looked to be a metal building roof with a minimal 1:12 pitch, hardly “sloped”. The shooter had no problem lying prone on it...

- STANDING ON THE GROUND - clearly saw this guy crawling around on the roof for 26 minutes! Your agents didn’t have to be on the roof, had they been standing among the attendees they would have seen him.
There was not very much slope on that roof….people work on sloped roofs all the time….

I have built hundreds of the metal building roofs. The sniper roof is about 1:12 slope and the anti-sniper roof is about 4:12 slope. So Kim Cheatle is out of her mind stupid to make that statement. The sniper roof is very minimal. She is now toast.

Exactly. It's almost like they want everyone to know they're feeding us bullsh!t. And why would they do that? Maybe so we know that they can do whatever they want, and we can't do anything about it. For years they've been intentionally doing more and more out in the open, not even pretending to cover their tracks. This is just the most recent and most obvious example.
