Some years back I watched a very profound docudrama on the imminent demise of Glen Campbell. If you've not watched it - do so ASAP.
Campbell - like Biden will soon be - was in the end stages of severe dementia. He didn't know where he was most of the time, he couldn't remember the names of his children, he couldn't remember the words to Galveston and other hit songs he's sung thousands of times. He needed assistance with basic necessities of life.
Yet his wife and handlers took him on a farewell tour. They put Campbell on stage before audiences who watched his performances fail miserably. And they filmed this hot mess.
What purpose did this serve? Critics howled on how this was humiliating - putting Glen on stage to fail so badly. Yet his wife and those close to him told a different story. That instead of placing Glen in a nice room in some nursing home, they gave him a great final exit to life. That even though he could not remember the words and certainly did not know where he was - he could still play the guitar. Flawlessly.
The choices they made for Glen certainly seemed to make him happy. He was born to perform and he died doing that which he loved. What they did harmed no one. I hope I die happy, don't you?
Contrast to Joe Biden.
As the whole world knows - Biden has advanced senility and dementia issues. And these issues will only get worse. And just like Glen - Joe's wife and handlers are also putting him out on stage for the whole world to see. Would a nice room in a dementia ward at some nursing home make the Biden's happy? I would think watching Matlock and having ice cream would make Joe happy. But not Jill. Certainly not Jill.
Draw you conclusions here. Glen Campbell on stage harmed nobody. His documented end of life was actually a fine tribute to a great artist.
Biden on the other hand is putting the entire world at risk. Everyone sees the daily horrible struggles he goes through and we are amazed and disgusted at what his wife and handlers are doing. Are they acting like Glen's wife and associates did out of compassion, or are they acting out of selfish ambition and dishonest gain?
Draw your conclusions here. While Glen didn't lead a perfect life (who does?) he lived and died with honor, decency and respect. Biden on the other hand has always lived a life of deceit, perversion, corruption and failure. And now he's dying - for all the world to see - the same way he lived.
America and the entire world deserves better.
I wonder if she'll feel the same way when she is old and nearly dead yet her people will drag her ugly face to The View for selfish reasons also.
People often ask: What is the most common cause of death in Parkinson’s patients?
<><>In rare cases, serious falls can be fatal.
<><>Pneumonia, particularly “aspiration pneumonia,” is the leading cause of death
<><>accounts for 70% of Parkinson’s deaths.
“Aspiration pneumonia” is when food, stomach acid, or saliva is inhaled into lungs.
A typical day for a Parkinson’s patient is slowness, rigidity, balance problems, falls, low volume of voice, difficulty being understood, bladder problems, bowel problems, and sometimes cognitive decline and paranoia.

Message: The DNC, dimwit Biden, his buttinsky unelected wife

Glen:
HOWDY! I’m Glen Campbell!..................
Biden:
Howdy! I’m..........uh, I, me.......No joke!......C’mon , Man!............
lol.......
look up “20 famous people with Lewy body dementia”. very interesting
Back when my wife and I were dealing with the first of our six dementia patients in our families we learned a lesson: Think about their life as being on a school bus rolling down a hill. Who is driving that bus? If you do not jump into the driver’s seat, that bus is going to drive off the road with disastrous results.
Letting Joe “drive the bus” is pretty much the definition of insane.
This is memory care “caretaker” 101 stuff. Why has no one interviewed a geriatric psychiatrist or geriatric social worker about this stuff. The country, and the media especially, are really acting like idiots about this whole thing.
Think of Feinstein, McCain, Ted Kennady. They can’t let go. It is about them, the power, and the fame.
If Jill reads this, she’ll send Joe out to the next debate, guitar in hand...
Excellent essay, R2. You should submit that to American Thinker.
No. They knew his conditions. There was no attempt to mislead the audience.
Unlike the MSM/Democrat policy to tell us Biden is fine.
FWLIW I saw it back in 2020. You can dig thru my old posts and find where I was calling him Dementia Joe back then.
An in-laws father had Parkinson’s and choked on a meal at a restaurant and died.
Choking on food.....that must also be typical.
good one!

My brother and wife went to see B.B. King at the casino maybe 5 to 10 years ago. He said it was sad, and terrible. The first 15 minutes was him introducing the band. Then he played a short song - poorly. Then he had the audience join in on the second song, and played the refrain over and over and over again. Then there was intermission.
Everyone left, and got their money back. The ticket guy was very apologetic.
Good essay.
Also the reason I didn’t want to see the last Genesis tour with Phil Collins sitting in a chair. That’s not how I wanted to remember them.
