My brother and wife went to see B.B. King at the casino maybe 5 to 10 years ago. He said it was sad, and terrible. The first 15 minutes was him introducing the band. Then he played a short song - poorly. Then he had the audience join in on the second song, and played the refrain over and over and over again. Then there was intermission.

Everyone left, and got their money back. The ticket guy was very apologetic.

Also the reason I didn’t want to see the last Genesis tour with Phil Collins sitting in a chair. That’s not how I wanted to remember them.

We saw BB just about every or every other year up to about a dozen years ago, when we dropped the season tickets for the venue that we’d held for ~30 years. The last 6-8 we were going to pay homage to BB and to see the warm up acts, which were quite good. People like Buddy Guy, Robert Cray, etc.

But just BB? No.
