I’m a coffee snob. You want the best cup of Joe you ever had? Get Peruvian mild roast beans and mix then 50/50 with Ecuadorian dark roast beans. Grind them in a drip grind. and brew them with a French press. It is the best cup of coffee you will ever drink.

First line into the article, the author takes his shot at red meat.

Roast our own, grind our own, drink our own. If you marxists and communists have a problem with that, f*** off.

Yep, those sentiments are exactly mine as well. If the fedgov ever shows up here on my farm and tells this cowboy he can’t drink his coffee in the morning then it’s Katie bar the door because I’m liable to get a bit agitated.

It's in my kitchen over the coffee pot.

The cubs made one and gave it to me for mother's day.

I think the drawing of dead stick people that have various sharp and pointy things sticking out of them is a bit over the top. I have not stabbed anyone for months now. :)

I only drink strong black coffee. Don’t even ASK if I want cream or sugar.

But I do love coffee ice cream.

Mom and Dad drank it all day long, which I can do. They even drank it after it had been sitting and burning for 5 or 6 hours, which I can’t do — gotta be fresh.

Dad lived to 86; Mom to 99-3/4. It’s the only approved Baptist drug, I think.

From BRAVE AI:

K-cups cause cancer?
The question of whether K-Cups cause cancer has been debated and researched extensively. Based on the available information, it appears that the answer is no, K-Cups do not cause cancer.

BPA-Free and Non-Carcinogenic

Many K-Cup manufacturers, including Keurig, have assured consumers that their products are BPA-free and non-carcinogenic. The FDA has also approved the use of K-Cups, and there is no conclusive evidence to suggest that they pose a significant risk of cancer.

Chemical Concerns

Some studies have raised concerns about the presence of certain chemicals in K-Cups, such as phthalates and PFASs, which have been linked to health problems. However, these chemicals are typically present in very small amounts, and the scientific consensus is that they do not pose a significant risk of cancer.

Cancer Risk Factors

Cancer is a complex and multifactorial disease, and there are many established risk factors that contribute to its development. While coffee and K-Cups may contain certain chemicals that could potentially cause cancer, the evidence suggests that the risk is low and largely outweighed by the benefits of moderate coffee consumption.

In Conclusion

Based on the available information, it appears that K-Cups do not cause cancer. While there may be some concerns about the presence of certain chemicals in K-Cups, the scientific consensus is that they do not pose a significant risk of cancer. As with any food or beverage, it is always a good idea to consume K-Cups in moderation and to follow proper brewing and storage guidelines to minimize any potential risks.

"Then there was Acidophlus Milk, the rage in the 1980s. Anyone seen it on the store shelves since then?"

Sure, I see it all over the place and it led to a USD 77 billion probiotics industry in 2022.
