In the past day I have been called gay, a lair, that I am talking out of my *** and I am full of ****. Do we even have to go into the fighting on any thread about Ukraine or Russia. Even hard facts from multiple sources no longer seem to matter. Instead it is whoever can come up with the snarkiest reply.

Thank you for the explanation, which had Reno89519 known herself, she could have simply provided that info to those of us on the thread (I wasn't the only one questioning the medal awards to DeSantis or Beau Biden). Since she didn't offer that info because she either chose not to or wasn't aware of it herself, she instead chose to fly off the handle like a rabid dog, screaming at people in capital letters, and making false accusations against people for simply wanting to know why. I'm also not the only one who she has ordered not to make any comments to her. And she herself has in error commented to me in the past, violating her own order.

The Democrats like Pelosi and Biden who say they are Christian really bother me.

I just wanted to say to you publicly, I am deeply sorry I feuded with you and apologize. I’m old, and it isn’t worth it to hold a grudge. I mean it.
I had to admit, I kind of viewed this person as a kind of a harmless person who took religion seriously, and it was like a bolt out of the blue when she came at me!
I take it with a grain of salt, and par for the course for overbearing, and arrogant people. I've been verbally abused by far better people in the past, and none of them were on FR. And at least back then I got paid a good salary to put up with it.
I think that ever since 9/11 and the crazy conspiracies about bombs having been planted ahead of time, or that the burning jet fuel melted the steel beams, the reaction was a new coined term of "truther" that was applied to adherents of those conspiracy theories -- people who claimed to know the "truth" of what really happened.
In 2008, the "truther" term was converted into "birther" to attack people who questioned the authenticity of Barack Obama's on-line birth certificate.
Ever since then, the suffix "-er" as applied to any noun is used as an ad hominem to attack or discredit someone's support or beliefs. That's why using a term like "Trumper" can be seen as having its roots in the birther/truther movement, and is therefore seen by some as a personal attack.
Others might use it as a shortcut to represent a general area of support, but personally I abhor "thought" shortcuts because it leaves things open for interpretation.

You are a class act. I, too, am very sorry I feuded with you. Grudge-holding is bad for the soul. You and I go way back here on FR and I value your FRiendship. We don’t have to agree on everything.
I know we both agree that our country is in grave danger and that the upcoming election is critical to our survival as a nation. That’s the big focal point now.
