Distressing footage captured at least 10 adults and children fighting during a Tennessee kindergarten graduation ceremony earlier this month, according to a report.
The chaos unfolded at Buckley Carpenter Elementary in Somerville, Tenn., on May 15, 2024, when tensions between two women in the crowd boiled over into violence, police told Fox 13 Memphis.
The adults, identified as Tyeisha Humphreys and Kierra Smith, were seen brawling down the gymnasium bleachers as witnesses tried to escape the madness.
Beyond the bleacher brawl, at least two other people on the basketball court exchanged several punches.
According to the outlet, Tyeisha Humphreys told police that she was attacked first while Smith insisted that her childhood acquaintance ignited the brawl.
Security video obtained by law enforcement allegedly showed Tyeisha Humphreys coming into the gym and taking a seat directly behind Smith.
Smith then reportedly moved away from her original seat and sat next to a father and his child, according to the outlet.
Investigators say Smith and the child then got into an argument, which allegedly led to the woman taking an aggressive stance, prompting Tyeisha Humphreys to run down the bleachers from several rows back and smack Smith from behind to start the fight.
Ronda Humphreys, the mother arrested in the fight, told Fox 13 that she was wrongfully arrested and saw her son was elbowed in the head by an adult during the melee.

I received my P.H.D. (Piled Higher and Deeper) in coloring inside the lines from the Pine Street School in Lowell, Mass. A hallowed institution now a public works building.
I don’t recall any animosity among parents picking up their children that afernoon...just apathy. Because who the hell has a graduation ceremony before the end of high school?
“Was Scott Adams right? It does not look good.”
He was and is ABSOLUTELY RIGHT.
The best thing for both races is separation, as in separate nations, each free to pursue their own destinies.
The group dynamics are such that two groups of people whose members are easily identifiable as belonging to one or the other group and whose AVERAGE group IQs are significantly different will never be able to peacefully coexist together.
A sad reality, but a reality nonetheless. And until that separation happens things are only going to get worse for both races.
The European have no idea the grief they’re buying themselves by importing millions of africans in their formerly white countries.
I would have both of them caned.
I think the rotten culture people only has kindergarten “graduation” ceremonies so the momma’s can have a picture for the news when these thugs are shot in a gang shoot out or while committing a crime.
I wasn’t familiar with Somerville but when it said Tennessee I knew it had to be somewhere near Memphis, the “environment” isn’t right for this type of stuff anywhere else than Memphis. Turns out I wasn’t wrong!
That photo of MLK could also do well as an alternate “Oh, geez, not this shit again” meme.
To be fair, this may be the Senior year for some of them.
We should not be disparaging cultural differences. All cultures are equal. Teacher says so!
Been to Nashville? It is a small beautiful core city surrounded by vast black and mexican slums. Some problems there with those cultural differences.
IMHO, it’s got the best entertainment district in the country.
But I repeat myself...
Now that’s funny. No longer do I have to apologize for double posts......LOL
The one on the right has a Larry Fine look about her.
As soon as I read the headline I played “Guess the Race”
Right again. Easy peasy.
