I received my P.H.D. (Piled Higher and Deeper) in coloring inside the lines from the Pine Street School in Lowell, Mass. A hallowed institution now a public works building.
I don’t recall any animosity among parents picking up their children that afernoon...just apathy. Because who the hell has a graduation ceremony before the end of high school?
Retired teacher. It is all the rage for graduating from practically every grade. I think it takes the specialness out of finally graduating high school.
