I agree with you. I've been around for over 20 years and have never considered posting a bio. I also donate anonymously. My credit has been hijacked before and not only did it take forever to get sorted out, but no one was able to tell me how it was compromised. So why would I give anyone help doing it a second time?

I’ve been here 8 years. I think people who rub our noses in the fact that they’ve been here for “x amount of years”, meaning,I suppose, more than many others, are hubristic and self important. What difference does it make how many years anyone has been here? Does that make you better than others or more important? Reminds me of elementary school when kids would brag they’re older than others. Big hairy deal; we all have to start somewhere, and not one of us has more rights than another.
