While neighbors are free to disagree in civil ways about the policies or tactics advocated by equality movement organizers and supporters, posts and comments intended to undermine their core messages of equality are prohibited. For these reasons: Content promoting “All Lives Matter” is prohibited when it’s used to diminish racial equality, the Black Lives Matter movement, or Stop Asian Hate. Content promoting “Blue Lives Matter” is prohibited when it’s used to diminish racial equality or the Black Lives Matter movement, but permitted when used to honor, celebrate, or thank the police for work done in a community.

The really bad thing is you don’t have to be part of any group there that makes it “obvious”. Just counter the wrong thing and you will be tattled on.
Nextdoor has been around for a long time. It’s mostly useful for finding out which of your neighbors are chuckleheads of various stripe.
Here, it’s a given they are leftist. The gem was finding like-minded conservatives. I started making a list of them, as most have real names and we can maybe find them via “phone book”, per se and their neighborhood. I tried to start making a list because I was/am very, very concerned about SHTF. Wanted to connect the old-fashioned ways so we couldn’t be tracked. But then, I got banned.
No, the actual neighbors report you - tattle tales. The local admins might have something to do with it and can monitor, but my experience, it’s mostly tattle-tales and that gets the SanFran Stasi involved who decide to suspend or ban you.
I joined Nextdoor against my better judgement....thought it would help to keep up with doings in my neighborhood. Turns out it covers a bunch of neighborhoods in my general area with little relevance to mine. I haven’t bothered to cancel it, but I pretty much ignore it.
glad I didn’t sign up....I would like to have more local communication but not at the expense of my values and privacy.
I live in a 55 and over HOA community and somehow got linked into NEXTDOOR. I mostly read complaints or speculation on what’s being built at a new location; my usual response is Buc-ee’s or Cracker Barrel. Recently one woman went on a rant about pets peeing and defecating in her yard. I replied, “Thanks, Karen.” This was followed by more rants from other Karens and the original one. I then wrote, “Thanks for proving my point.” More rants followed.
