The writer of this article couldn’t just report it now could he? We don’t have to agree with Harrison Butker but you gotta agree silencing him is a curse worse than any ‘disease’.
Woke NFL won’t like this
I bet his kicking-career is over.
Women that bear children and accept the patriarchy generally find happiness. Those that don’t are usually miserable.
We need more like him.
Fascist America forces silence on those not with the Reich.
“There are some times when maybe, just maybe, one should actually stick to sports.”
Did this writer say that about all the BLM activists in sports? And the kneelers?
He should’ve worn a wife beater instead of a gown while giving his commencement address. LOL...
Tay Tay is going to tell ratfink Roger to force the team to punt the kicker…
“the 1027 seventh-round pick out of Georgia Tech...”
I did not think he had been in the NFL that long.
Here is the actual quote from inside the article:
“I’m beyond blessed with the many talents God has given me, but it cannot be overstated that all my success is made possible because a girl I met in band class back in middle school would convert to the faith, become my wife, and embrace one of the most important titles of all. Homemaker.”
So he wasn't telling women to stay in the kitchen at all. He was merely pointing out his good fortune in finding a woman who does embrace a more traditional domestic role.
I have no idea why so many women get offended at any mention of their gender role. After all, these same women have no issue sitting in the car on a cold rainy night while a man steps out to change the flat tire. If they find a big spider in the bathtub, it's usually a man who gets called upon to go flush it out. When there is a suspected prowler outside in the middle of the night, it is the man who gets out of bed to investigate and deal with the threat.
I realize not every woman wants to be a traditional housewife but it's a darn nice option to have. They should not be so quick to give that up.
“Chiefs kicker Harrison Butker bashes Pride Month, tells women to stay in the kitchen”
Of course the headline is a lie and drafted that way to get hits. Praising the virtues of being a homemaker is not the same thing as saying “women belong in the kitchen”.
“I think it is you, the women, who have had the most diabolic lies told to you. Some of you may go on to lead successful careers in the world but I would venture to guess that the majority of you are most excited about your marriage and the children you will bring into this world.”
One doesn’t have to tolerate something that is evil. Trans, gayness is all a form of evil.
As for a woman’s place....all I can say is IMHO the country started going down hill when women got the right to vote and the American family started to decay when women left the home to work. The government has helped this decay by practically making it impossible for them to stay home because of the need for 2 incomes.
Again, IMHO.
Good for him. 👍
“That woman’s liberation is a goin to your head soGet Your Biscuits in the Oven and Your Buns in the Bed”
Kinky Friedman and his Texas Jewboys
yeah. loved the leftist bs headline.
yes, men can do many things and so can women, but what he’s talking about is the woman’s paramount place in God’s world—’rocking the cradle’ for the next generation.
in other words, God designed and calls her to marry, then birth, raise, love and nurture her family—i.e., the hardest, most critically important job in the world.
lol... “...and fix me another chicken pot pie!...”
If a woman’s rightful place isn’t in the kitchen, why did he fill them up with milk and eggs?
(It’s a joke ladies)
Household chores are really more of a division of labor.
For instance, I don’t cook but, I will clean the whole house for a meal...
I mean, I really don’t cook.
I make Top Ramen and Reservations. Don’t care which you prefer but, I really do like Top Ramen...
“the 1027 seventh-round pick out of Georgia Tech”
And still playing? That puts Tom Brady nowhere near his prime!
“There are some times when maybe, just maybe, one should actually stick to sports.“
Why, I wonder? This sounds like “diversity” to me…
