'This Is the Best Country to Live in, Period': US Woman Visited 193 Countries Before Settling Down in Singapore
AsiaOne ^ | APRIL 24, 2024 | Amierul Rashid

Having travelled solo to 193 countries in the world, YouTuber The Krazy Koala, or KK for short, declared Singapore "the best country to live in".

The Singapore Permanent Resident (PR), who hails from the US, has been living here for the past seven years, and it sounds like she's not leaving anytime soon.

In a chat with fellow content creator Max Chernov, shared on YouTube on Monday (April 22), KK spoke about her adventures around the world and why she ranks Singapore high on her list of countries.

"As a traveller who has been to 193 countries, this is the best country to live in—period," she said.

It's all about efficiency

KK's travel adventures have exposed her to a variety of experiences that have shaped her views on many countries she has visited.

"How do you perceive Singapore?" Max asked.

She did not take long to answer, claiming that "most of the countries" in the world are simply "inefficient".

KK provided some examples, such as immigration, travelling to and from the airport and even congestion on the roads in general.

"It's so rare to see traffic jams in Singapore and you can get [out of] Changi Airport in five minutes. It's so fast," she added.

For KK, time is money and should anything cost her "too much time", then it's something she might not want to do.

What's impressive about her list of countries visited is that she only began solo travelling a decade ago.

She told Max that she caught the travel bug and simply wanted to continue exploring the world.

"Once you get to the point of travelling to 100 countries, then you just want to finish the rest," KK shared.

From best to worst

Of all the 193 countries she's visited, KK revealed that Syria was the most impactful.

It's a country that is unlikely to be on many people's travel list, given the current situation there and how it is often portrayed in media.

Before stepping foot in the country, KK was aware about how supposedly dangerous Syria is.

But her experience there was not at all what many might have expected.

"People are so friendly and so happy to see you," she said.

KK also noted that children in Syria "have never seen a foreigner", and they were more than happy to interact with her, despite the language barrier.

While her trip to Syria was a revelation, visiting its nearby neighbour Egypt was a whole different experience for her.

Of course, KK pre-empted her response by stating that this was her own personal views.

"I went to Egypt 13 years ago, I don't know how it is like now but my experience at the time was horrible. I [faced] a lot of sexual harassment back then," she recalled.

Training to be soldiers

As if it's not impressive enough to have travelled the entire world before making Singapore your home, KK is also a member of the Singapore Armed Forces Volunteer Corps (SAFVC).

She decided to join the SAFVC due to her love for Singapore. As "actions speak louder than words", KK felt it was the best way for her to give back to the country.

"I've been a PR of Singapore for many years. I personally benefit so much from the safety, the environment, the facilities, the efficiency of the country.

"And I think that by being a soldier, and being part of the army, it's time for me to contribute to the safety of the country that I've benefitted from," she said.

Singapore is nice. I had a Rolex stolen from my hotel room when I was there. The joke was on them though because it was a counterfeit I had bought in Bangkok a week prior. Whoever took it probably got their ass beaten when they tried to fence it LOL.

I’m sure that difference did work in your favor.
The fact that you were aware of the status it brought you, probably meant you made the most of it, where both side would
‘win’.

I look at it this way....

Someone holds a gun to your head and forces you to move to New York City or Singapore.

I know it’s often said that “Those who would give up essential Liberty, to purchase a little temporary Safety, deserve neither Liberty nor Safety.”

But where is safety or liberty in New York City?

I travel for a living and have been to Singapore at least 30 times, I'll be there later this week. As cities go it's nice enough and it is clean because of the police state mentality. It's also crowded, hot, muggy, very restrictive, and expensive. There's no way I'd choose to live there, I'm always VERY happy any time I get back home in the U.S. where I can breathe fresh air and basically do what I want whether that be get in my car and take a road trip or hop on my ATV with a rifle and go shoot a bit on the back 40. You're not going to do that in Singapore.

I'm glad she's happy in Singapore, but living there permanently would be a special kind of hell for me. There's nothing that appeals to me about it.

Jealous of what? Being lucky and rich? We each have hands dealt to us and how we play life’s game is what counts.

I think you’re a “racist” which you shouldn’t deny because racisl differences and white superiority are what you believe.

Without taking the time to write a treatise on this, you’re just angry because obviously the white Western world and the non whites here as well, have become insane on the subject of race.

However, it would be perfectly possible to have a society in which so people are expected to act responsibly, education and Western values are encouraged, etc.

And a society in which people who want to use race as an excuse (black or white), are told to go to hell.

We pretty much had that society.

Your real enemy is the left, which destroys everything. We also used to have a society which recognized that fact. The left’s evil goes way beyond race, but it is central to racial hatred.

I think the control freaks and or psychos operate in the gray areas. Only occasionally revealing themselves.
They know just how much they can get away with..and how much they can push.
They can kill the unborn by the millions.
The can force the bulk of people to stay in their houses.
They can even kill an occasional person.
Burn down cities ...loot stores.
But they CAN NOT declare all out war..because then people would wise up and fight back.
So..they’ll slowly pick us off.
And people ..no matter how whacked out things are ..can generally find ways to enjoy life.
While it’s on the back of their mind who could I eliminate that would solve this dilemma?

That was my experience also. Clean, safe, and great food. The hotel I stated at must have been holding a job fair for flight attendants or models because there was a steady stream of gorgeous women coming and going from the conference rooms while I was there.

I’m a “race realist”. Racist connotes antipathy, I don’t have any of that. I wish everyone well.

You on the other seem to be a “reality denier”, and denying reality is not a good way to go through life. It can even cost your life.

No one grounded in reality denies that there is a significant difference between the AVERAGE IQ of blacks and whites (even more with east asians). The evidence is overwhelming both in actual IQ tests, SAT tests, and actual life performance anywhere in the world, especially African countries.

It is also a reality that blacks do quite well when it comes to athleticism and music.

So it’s not a question of one being superior to another, it’s more about how those real group (racial} differences impact a mixed society due to the strong sense of race identity we all have.

So if you have a MERIT based society with two easily identifiable groups of people and one group has a significantly lower AVERAGE IQ than the other, which group is going to have the more menial jobs, the poorer performing students, the higher crime rate?

And what will be the reaction of the people in the worse performing group seeing their “brothers” occupying the lower rungs of society’s ladder? Do you think they might cry racism and raise hell, especially being told that all races are the same?

And what about the soft hearted, soft headed, “compassionate”, easily guilted people of the better performing group? Will they too complain of the injustice and in-equity of the merit, capitalist system and go on crusades to squash it?

Is this not what we’re currently living?

In my brief stay there I didn’t have time to look into the underbelly of Singapore, and given the fact that no society is perfect, I figured there must be one and was wondering how big it was and how they keep it from infecting the broader society.

Whatever it is and however they do it, it seems to be quite effective and rewarding for the law abiding population.

“Yew was a “benevolent socialist” who did what was best for his country.”

There is no better government than a wise benevolent dictator. Problem is, who replaces him when he’s gone. They tend to be quite rare animals.

Interestingly enough, though, when one looks back, most of the past is run by dictators - kings, emperors, chieftain, tsars...

This newfangled democracy thing is fairly new... and decaying rather quickly. I wonder how much longer it has.

What do you think the applicants at a job fair for flight attendance for a US airline would look like here?

The left’s evil goes way beyond race, but it is central to racial hatred.

It's the same hatred you have toward Russians.

So, you're the last person that should be condemning anyone else for racism or ethnic hatred. It's blatant hypocrisy.

And, no, the left isn't the biggest enemy of the country. It's establishment politicians that have been bought and paid for by the globalist elite that are the biggest enemy.

It's the WEF a-holes, including George Soros, that have bought and paid for Western politicians that implementing their agenda, much of which is left-wing. But, the agenda is primarily rooted in making money at the expense of the citizens of Western countries.

Walmart checkers. Unless they’re guys, then they look gay. Korean Air is my favorite airline. Those ladies are gorgeous, classy, and wear a complementing uniform. KA used to honor Delta sky miles so I would fly KA when I could.
