“Trump lost an election, then incited a violent mob to attack the Capitol. He hoped that the insurrectionists would terrorize, kidnap, or even kill his own vice president in order to stop”

Stopped there...sheesh

Because the voters would see just how far Biden’s condition has progressed. We can’t let the people see the truth for themselves you know.

Biden either loses support because his brain is fried and can’t debate or refuses because of a lame excuse like this and he will lose support. Probably better for him to refuse since at least his “supporters” can delude themselves as if its some moral victory.

President Biden’s spokesperson should answer like this: “The Constitution is not debatable. The president does not participate in forums with a person under criminal indictment for his attempt to overthrow the Constitution.”

Ah!

So NOW we come to it.

The Democrats are using the Department of Jesters under Gauleiter Garland to directly attack their opponent in the 2024 "election", kind of like Pakistan, Brazil or Venezuela.

The Democrats have turned this country into a first-world banana republic.

This is the "David Frum":

"...No doubt exists about what Trump did, or why, or what his actions meant. Trump lost an election, then incited a violent mob to attack the Capitol. He hoped that the insurrectionists would terrorize, kidnap, or even kill his own vice president in order to stop..."

I think he actually believes this. I would have a smidgen of grudging "enemy" respect if I thought it was all being done for political purposes, but I believe he is so much of a frothing at the mouth Leftist that this is his vision of reality.

I’m starting to wonder if Trump is not as compromised as johnson. Where the hell is his voice on what is happening in the house. They must be holding over his head that congress will remove him from the ballot if he speaks. If that’s true, Trump is compromised and we have no one left.

Everyone knows the real reason why Diaper Joe won’t debate is because he can’t.

Stuttering, mumbling, yelling, forgetting where he is, etc. is not a good look.

“The president does not participate in forums with a person under criminal indictment for his attempt to overthrow the Constitution.”

That perch on top of the moral high ground is on an ever-shaky foundation since the ONLY reason this President hasn't been indicted is because he hired the very people who should be bringing him up on charges for influence peddling, bribery solicitation, obstruction of justice, mishandling of classified documents, ... and that's just the low-hanging fruit for starters.

the only way they will ALLOW biden to debate is IF he can read his answers off a teleprompter, and hear how to respond through an earpiece- He is still capable of reading, but his off-teleprompter responses are horrible and showcase his mental issues, so he will never be allowed to debate where the answer isn’t known beforehand and written on a prompter

When a refusal to debate comes from a person with strength, it can be a smart move. In Biden’s case, it will be seen as a move of fear. The questions about his mental abilities are so common that his refusal to stand on the same stage will be seen as confirmation that he is senile. It doesn’t matter what excuse they come up with.

He's afraid Trump might ask him about his uncle who eaten by cannibals.

"Uncle Bosey got shot down in a plane and was possibly eaten by African cannibals."

“If Trump had not occupied the presidency at the time of his attempted coup d’état…”

LOL! An aimless group of unarmed protesters with no formal or informal directions to do anything but go home, from Trump himself, can never be called an “attempted coup d’état.”

That is truly funny!

The president does not participate in forums with a person under criminal indictment for his attempt to overthrow the Constitution

What a joke! Which of the two defies the Supreme Court? Which of the two violates the 1st, 2nd, 4th, 5th, 6th, 8th, and 10th Amendments every day of his tenure?

Which of the two doesn't believe in the Electoral College?

Which of the two has been the recipient of bribes while in office? Which of the two scoffs at subpoenas?

Which of the two makes a mockery of immigration and border control?

I mean, a bigger joke of a canard could not be put forth. I cannot believe that bastard Frum would use that argument (oh, yeah -- I can believe such a poser would use it).

a competition of violence: Trump tried to seize the presidency by force in 2021.

That is slander. There was no arrest, indictment or conviction for him about that lie.

We used to say film and tv stars and politicians could be trash talked as they were "in the public eye". How far does that go for a person being persecuted by lawfare? Hitting him when he's down is okay? Or does even Trump have rights. Dems are above the law but he is beneath the law.
