“The View” co-host Whoopi Goldberg is not happy former President Donald Trump attended the funeral of slain New York City police officer Jonathan Diller.
On Tuesday, co-host Alyssa Farah Griffin noted Trump attended the funeral and said it was a “brief, good political moment for a Republican.”
“He attended a slain NYPD officer’s funeral to juxtapose, you know, what he was framing as Biden hobnobbing with celebrities,” she continued. “Choose what you like there. But, for Republicans it was good imagery.”
Goldberg interjected to ask, “Really?”
“I was so offended because you know who showed up… whether he was asked or not. This is a man who didn’t care what happened to the officers on Jan. 6,” she added.

Griffin seemed to agree with her point about Jan. 6 and reiterated she believed it was good optics, but added that Trump “[stepped] on it a minute later” by sharing a “dangerous” photo of President Joe Biden.
She referred to a post that depicted Biden tied up in the back of a truck.
Last week, Trump attended the wake of Diller who was shot during a traffic stop.
Diller, who had a wife and one-year-old son, later died at a hospital.
Biden traveled to the city for a fundraiser that had been scheduled ahead of time and did not attend the wake.

It’s the BIG lie about an insurrection that didn’t happen. They’re still working overtime to sell this BIG lie to the ignorant masses.
Problem is, it’s working with millions of people who are predisposed to want to believe it.

Why does she think it is her place to be offended by this?
Put aside how the Capitol Police acted in concert with the Pelosi and the true insurrectionists, only the Capitol Police police should have an opinion on whether or not they were offended by Trump going to the funeral of a police officer for a completely difference police force that is beset by their own problems (illegal immigrants, feckless NYC mayor, etc.) that have nothing to do with what happened four years ago, except for the fact that the selection of the man who occupies the WH made these problems possible.
So in that respect, the NY police are at odds with the D.C. police.
I didn’t hear of any reports of large amounts of the 10K NY police at the funeral booing Trump’s presence.
It would be more rational if Whoopi expressed being offense at the NY police for not sticking up for the D.C. police, at least insofar as she works and lives in NY. But that might make people realize there are some real stark differences between the two police forces.
I am offended because you are so stupid.
I know someone that watches the View religiously, that show is targeted for shut in friendless women suffering from a cacophony of cluster B personality disorders.
