“His movies were good, but I think I liked his SCTV bits best, like Johnny Larue and Dr. Tongue.”
His “J La R” monogrammed robe was the best!

Only the Lonely also starring Maureen O’ Hara as the overbearing mother. Great movie, but can’t find it anywhere anymore.

Their polka send up of Michael Jackson songs was brilliant. So sorry that the Michael Jackson tribute Concert they put on caused them such legal problems!

Chris Farley was hilarious.But unsustainable.
He didn't have that much range, nor did he do any credible impersonations.
Meanwhile, Candy's "Orson Welles" brought down the house!
Candy also seemed like such a nice guy.

Joe, Montana took the 49ers down the field in the final minute of the Super Bowl, and beat Cincinnati with a touchdown pass to John Taylor.
Legend has it that a reporter asked one of Montana’s teammates what he said in the huddle during that spectacular touchdown drive.
Joe reportedly pointed to the stands and said, “look! There’s John Candy!”

Sam Kinnison was funny.
The next generation of comics that tried to illicit nervous laughter by screaming were NOT funny.
